“The hotel is very well located 1 minute walk from Morar train station. The place is quiet and the view from the restaurant is magnificent. By taking a taxi, a train or a bus (quite rare, however, for the last 2) you can get to Mallaig in less than 10 minutes to take the Ferry. The staff is helpful and the breakfast is plentiful and good. The room was quite small, the floor although carpeted was not always level and the spring mattress seemed not to be straight. We felt like we were sliding towards the edges. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and the dishes were really generous and very well prepared. The price is in line with a 3-star hotel, except that the bedding for a hotel of this quality must be impeccable.”
