“This was our first night in Skye. We arrived after driving through some serious rain that evening. My husband and I enjoyed a nice meal in the bar area and got some much-needed rest.The images are of the next day, a beautiful sunny morning. Uig Bay was stunning. The staff and service here was wonderful, everyone was super friendly. I would rec making a reservation as the dining room was quite full when we checked in. “Popped in hungry after a long drive. Got seated quickly on a Friday night with fast and friendly service. Food was top notch! Unexpected gem in the heart of Skye. The pumpkin soup was probably one of the best I’ve ever had. The smoked haddock chowder was also creamy deliciousness. The venison casserole on special was tender and flavorful. The pizza was also surprisingly good, better than we get in our area of England!”

“Make sure to get a reservation ahead as they have a small kitchen! Everything was delicious and the view was beautiful! (We didn’t stay here as they were fully booked) Staff were very accommodating and friendly through the whole meal.”

“The Flodigarry saved my vacation. Arrived in Portree on a Wednesday afternoon only to find the accommodation I booked there didn't exist. So I scrambled and found only two rooms available on all of Skye, The Flodigarry having one of them. The staff were very welcoming and understanding of my situation. I was able to spend two nights in the Charles room. It's a beautiful place in a spectacular location. More expensive than I planned on spending originally, but I had room in my budget for such emergencies. Besides, it only makes sense considering the size, age, and remote location. I loved the history of the place and the scenery. The food was delicious, the drinks even better, and the laundry service worked out perfect. Thanks to the staff and the location, I was able to relax from my hyper-stressed condition upon arrival and leave in a much better state of mind to enjoy the rest of my vacation. I enjoyed my stay much more there than I think I would have in Portree. Would love to visit again, hopefully with someone special as the room and location were very romantic.”
