I was expecting something great.. it’s a lovely location but they seemed to be having some staff problems, there were 7 working but it looked very chaotic.. we were first told a table should not be long, then we were told that it would be at least 45 minutes because other people had booked.. we decided to buy some coffee...

Coffee was extremely good and the best we had during our week long excursion in Scotland. We also had our first experience with scones, clotted cream and jam. Delicious!The paninis are ok however otherwise the Boat Shed was a delightful find during our stay up the street.Harry is a natural born host and server.

A friendly independent cafe, in an enviable location, with stunning views of Loch Goil and the surrounding mountains.
We serve soup, panini’s, artisan coffee and cake.
Gluten friendly, vegetarian and vegan options available.
2 miles from Lochgoilhead village or just over 1 mile from Drimsynie holiday park.
Relax with a coffee and watch the local wildlife. Regular visitors include a variety of birds including ‘Steven’ our friendly Robin. Red squirrels and pine marten are occasional visitors with seals and porpoise in the Loch. You won’t want to leave.
We are walk in only and do not accept bookings. We are also dog friendly inside and outside on our decking.
