Trying to return a pair of nikes no answer for days now pointless calling them

I bought a pair of expensive trainers & wasn't told I couldn't get a refund even with the receipt, they can only give credit notes, which I was not informed of when I purchased them.
Unless your 100% with what you want I wouldn't bother, more trouble than there worth
