£19.30 for fish (1 peice) and chips, Curry Suace anad 2 cans if Irn Bru.
Fish was really greasy and sauaxe was smore like curry wurst.

Ordered online at 1540 for home delivery. After paying it told me the food would be delivered between 1700 and 1730! I thought it must have been a mistake, but nope, the food arrived at 1720. My dad?s house is about a 5min drive away. Ordered the chicken strips ?the works? and fish and chips ?the works? along with a smoke sausage and can of irn-Bru xtra. Food arrived lukewarm and the chicken was 4 small pieces and hardly any chips. There was 5 of us and as the portions were described as ?supersized portions? we thought this would be ample food. How wrong were we! Barely enough chips for 1 let alone 2 sharing. Haddock was lovely, nice batter but the chips, I?ve had better and hotter! Sorely disappointed after reading all the good reviews. My first and last time. I?ll be giving it a miss the next time I?m in Largs

Went here tonight Sunday the 3rd Aug 2025.. was going to try the Italian place across road but very expensive then thought blue lagoon,but thought I'd give this award winning chippy a chance even though there's been some sketchy reviews recently.. I really wish we did go elsewhere 40 min from order to collecting.... fish and chips were very average to say the least.. 12.50 for one bit of fish an some chips I'd expect much tastier and fresher from a chippy right on the coast, I then got back to my holiday accomadation and had a bad stomach feeling sick rest of the night considering this was all I had in 24 hours an was feeling great till an hour after eating I'm guessing it was here.. May have won awards in past but defo not worth the title at the moment.. also my friend (female) was very friendly and polite and said to assistant thanks doll as she does in most shops to be abruptly corrected and embarrassed in front of others about pronouns :(

20 quid for a haggis supper and portion of scampi. not sure what the fuss is tbh. haggis was OK but chip portion was pretty poor in size and mostly the 'chip bits' that you see other chippys put in the bin. 6 pieces of scampi, one was a red herring, nothing but batter. brass neck to charge 50p for a portion of mayo! save your money on the 'hype' and go across the road to the viking. not much difference bar the price!

Been to this restaurant / takeaway several times.
All good trued has had a wonderful coating of dark golden crispy batter which sticks to food and isn't soggy. Chips are the perfect balance between crispy and fluffy. Always good size and portions of food too. You'll be stuffed.

This fish and chip shop has a huge accolade which it didn?t live up to on our visit. Although they had run out of cod the fish we had (haddock) was well cooked but was from frozen not fresh plus quite small considering the price. The chips were nothing to write home about, to be honest my local chippy does better.
Disappointing on our visit.

Visited Largs and had fish and chips here two years ago, my kids love it and always ask us to visit here again. After two years still the best fish and chips for us! Freshly made and we enjoyed our food with the wonderful view! Need to wait for a bit though as there is always a queue. We wanted to go earlier (11:30-ish) to beat the queue but it opens at 12 noon.

Obviously nice to eat your chips looking out at the water. Fish and sausage was nice but not large. Chips were rubbish and the curry sauce was horrific. Very sweet and watery. Expensive for what it was. Wouldn't go back. Il stick to Viking chippy behind them in future and park myself on a bench. Not good fish and chips!

The fish and chips was so salty i couldn't eat it. The chicken pea fritters where terrible taste and texture .The seagulls where everywhere taking food from people.
