Fish excellent.Chips just warm.Waiting area too small. It was raining.Staff engaging, friendly, clean.Very expensive £11.30 for 1 piece of lemon sole and Luke warm chips.

Spotlessly clean, lovely staff but chips were dry and the fish batter oozed grease. £10.90 for a bit of fish is far too expensive. Won't be back.Parking: Plenty of parking but not cheap. Adds a considerable amount to an already pricey meal.

I was eat chip and cod best of restaurants. I know good famous the fish works very excellent. Staff very nice friendly and good service. Keep the fish works very perfect. I say The fish works will very busy in summer. Best legend of chip and fish 5

The Fish Works is a family run business run by husband and wife team Ross and Tiffany Irvin, both have worked in the food industry for over 40 years. Being Largs locals and working on the promenade daily, they had the idea of bringing to Largs, somewhere visitors and locals can come to enjoy fresh quality Scottish seafood in a relaxed environment with the best views of Firth of Clyde.
We strive to plough all our knowledge and passion for quality into providing customers with great sustainably sourced ingredients cooked fresh made to order. We wanted to supply traditional haddock and chips in the lightest crispy batter but also twists on the traditional like fresh langoustine tails, calamari, seasonal fish from the day boats of Peterhead.
