“Very handy grocery store directly in the centre of kirkiston, a medium- sized village on the outskirts of Edinburgh. It has all the products that a larger supermarket might sell, but in much smaller quantities and lines, but there may be a few items here and there that might not be stocked. The layout of the store is very decently accessible and has reasonably wide lanes to shop in. The staff are really friendly and very helpful, especially towards out of towners and they do like to get to know their customers. There are a couple of minor drawbacks, like the fact that their prices are a bit higher than competitors elsewhere, but that is offset by the fact that it is located in the exact centre of the town. All staff wear communication headsets meaning that if you might have any queries and the cashiers don't know the answer to, they can quickly find out by speaking with another colleague nearby to find the answer for you. There is a cash machine outside the store inside, they accept both cash and card payments at either the self checkouts or the main till. i hope this helps other visitors to the town.”
