“Visited this restaurant on a busy Saturday afternoon and seated immediately. Bit chilly outside, restaurant was lovely and warm. Staff were polite and friendly. Service was excellent and food was great. Cannot ask for more.”

“I come here about 6 times a year to visit family who live locally. I travel alone and the staff here always make me feel welcome and are consistently helpful and friendly. The rooms are always super clean and I have no trouble sleeping as I feel safe to just relax. The place is quiet inside and out. Some rooms have fantastic views. Not a luxury hotel but everything you need is in the room and if you dont see it ...just ask! Sometimes the grandchildren come to stay with me for the night as the family rooms are good value too. They love it and are always made welcome. Their ages range from 13 to 4 and they have all had a turn at visiting! The Commodore (the attached restaurant) serves good food and again they are good at looking after customers dining alone, families and young children.”
