I have visited this place several times and always find the food to be excellent and the service is friendly. My friend enjoyed her meal so much that we had to ask for a spoon so she didn't lick her plate clean of the gravy!

This is a lovely place to stay. Excellent value for money, attentive service and good food.
Just one criticism: Hotel guests are not stupid. We know there is no such thing as a 'free breakfast'. If you are advertising Bed & Breakfast, then one price is all that's necessary. If breakfast is extra, tell us. The 'free breakfast' thing is out-of-date and insulting.
Very enjoyable visit for us, and keep up the high standards. We'll be back!

Lovely stay here this weekend, rooms are spacious, staff were friendly, nice and clean. Only feedback is that it was very noisy in our room from the bar (Tweed) with music til quite late plus could hear loud conversations too, and lots of banging doors around 5.30am on one day. Wouldn't put us off returning.

Fantastic food. The Nepalese Curry has got to be one of the best curries ever. Rich, packed full of flavour, just superb. The hot version packs a punch, but not overpowering made with plenty of fresh chillies. Mild and medium version available if they are more your taste. Lamb, chicken and great value veggie options.

Took my mum for lunch and it was amazing, the service is impeccable ad the staff are very welcoming and very smartly dressed, all the food is fresh and cooked to order not your typical cheap running of the mill reheated rubbish. I had there lasagna and my mum had the fish and chips and they were both amazing. Parking is not the best due to its location in the middle of the main road at Denholm but luckily we had no issues on the day as there was a space just outside the door. I cannot recommend this place enough for there food, the inside is a little dated but thats it. The price's for food are brilliant compared to everywhere else in the area.

200 year old hotel.. someone who like this flair is in cross keys Inn total on the right place.. so cozy.. the staff is very friendly.. the food I really can recommend.. I alway will stay there again

Have never had a bad meal here. The food is fantastic and valuable for money. The place is always busy, which speaks for itself. The staff are very friendly and attentive. They are good-sized tasty portions. We have always been accommodated for as we never seem to get round to booking. Everything is very clean, and tables are cleared quickly and efficiently. Would highly recommend the Cross Keys Inn. will not be disappointed. Our favourite has to be steak and ale pie though prawn cocktail is amazing.

we had a beautiful meal last night. we had family visiting from NZ and the cross keys was recommended The food was beautiful salted caramel cheesecake was to die for ..staff were attentive we will definitely be back. 5*****
