I have visited this place several times and always find the food to be excellent and the service is friendly. My friend enjoyed her meal so much that we had to ask for a spoon so she didn't lick her plate clean of the gravy!

This is a lovely place to stay. Excellent value for money, attentive service and good food. Just one criticism: Hotel guests are not stupid. We know there is no such thing as a 'free breakfast'. Lovely stay here this weekend, rooms are spacious, staff were friendly, nice and clean. Only feedback is that it was very noisy in our room from the bar (Tweed) with music til quite late plus could hear loud conversations too, and lots of banging doors around 5.30am on one day. Wouldn't put us off returning.
