“Poor communication but good service and customer care. We recently moved to this garage after we were disappointed with the deteriorating level of customer service at our old one. My husband's car was repaired first and we were happy so sent mine in for it's MOT. They are kept very busy so book well in advance! Leave at least a week.At 3pm I wondered why no one had called yet to inform me of the MOT result so I phoned and the receptionist said they were waiting on a tyre. This was news to me and I said so. I asked if my car had failed then and she confirmed it had. She said she would have the MOT tester call me when he got back to the office. Fine. An hour and a half later, still no call, so I called them again. This time the girl said my car was ready and I could pick it up. Surprised I asked, "so it passed?!" and she said it had. I was at work so asked my husband to set off to collect the car.Then I got a call from Peter, apologising for the miscommunication. They apparently thought they had phoned me, so carried out remedial works on my car and retested it, without my knowledge. This is what caused the conflicting information over the phone.They were very apologetic and waived some fees to compensate for their error. It's so nice to go somewhere that has good customer service. Mistakes happen to everyone but it's how you handle them that matters. Being proactive and taking responsibility for the mistake was the right course of action and I would use this garage again.Service: Tires”

“I can’t say enough about this garage. Especially being female, the honesty and help these guys give is second to none. Never charge for things you don’t need, i put car in for MOT last year and suggested I needed new tyres and they have called to say I didn’t and would get another year out of them, I had issue with my clutch this year and they gave great advice , helped sort car to get me through until it’s booked in for repair - garages get bad name for ripping people, especially females, off but I can honestly say E. Hayes is the most honest, helpful and reliable garage I have used. If could give 6 stars I would!”

“Colin has done an exceptional job on my car, it broke down several weeks ago and Colin put me in contact with a recovery truck to pick up the vehicle from my home , initially the car needed a full new clutch but with further diagnosis found the gear box was totally gone. A huge job but the garage was amazing from start to finish keeping me updated with photos of the work and email and messages as the work progressed .
