Amazing food. Amazing service. We were grateful they were able to fit us in for a late seating (I think we were just very lucky with timing, and reservations are required). Very imaginative menu highlighting some of the best quality ingredients you can find in Scotland. Lobster thermidor creme brulee and oyster snack were not only unique, but absolutely delicious. Scallop special with pickled strawberries was perfectly cooked and balanced.
Chicken breast was also cooked perfectly, and the Highland ribeye was also delicious (cooked a bit past medium, but still tender, so I can't really complain at all).
Sticky toffee pudding was excellent, especially with a glass of Pedro Ximinez sherry.
Wine list is also excellent with high quality selections at various price points.
Real standout was the Michelin level service through the entire meal.
Top of our list for our next visit to Edinburgh.

Lovely table for the first diner here in Scotland.
I enjoyed the Beetroot for a starter and the aubergine as main course.
I wish I was enough hungry to try the desert.

Quite a good restaurant. Scottish fare with a high end twist. Everything we tasted was great. The venison was perfectly cooked and delicious. Even the chicken was good (and chicken usually bores me to tears.) Great location on the Royal Mile, but not the overly crowded section. Definitely worth visiting.

i?m really hesitant to give Service 3 stars because our waitress was fantastic, but the food took a very long time very long time so that is the reason that I took some of the rating down. Overall, I will definitely go there again.

Amazing restaurant, the food was delicious. Went with my children while visiting from Costa Rica, and wanted them to taste quality Scottish cuisine.
Thank you for helping with paper and pens for them to draw.

This is an excellent place to experience innovative Scottish cuisine. The food was delicious and creative while the service was impeccable. The highlight of the meal were probably the scallops in a korma sauce, and the venison carpaccio, but every dish was excellent.
This is more or less fine dining spot, without the hefty price tag. Definitely would recommend for anyone dining in Edinburgh. It's a small restaurant, so make sure to book ahead.

We attended Paul?s foraging course which culminated in an amazing tasting menu in the restaurant. We had high expectations and the experience exceeded all of them, it is a must do for anyone interested in learning more about foraging and it?s tailored to people of all experience levels. Get ready to try some amazing flavours and enjoy a really memorable day, wouldn?t hesitate to recommend it. I would also note that as a vegetarian the options I had did not make it feel like I was getting a lesser version of the tasting menu, instead it was thoughtfully considered and absolutely delicious - we will be back!!

Wow! We did the 8 course wee tour of Scotland and it was hands down the best food we?ve ever had. Several things on the menu I would have never ordered otherwise, so I?m delighted to have tried so many new foods cooked to perfection. In addition to the amazing food, our servers were incredibly attentive, very friendly, and would chat about the different foods we were tasting. Amazing experience and restaurant. We will make it a point to return anytime we?re in Edinburgh.

We always go to Wedgwood if we have something to celebrate. This time it was my husband's 79th birthday. Saturday evening and the restaurant was packed. But food and service were excellent, as always, and there was a lively buzz.

First time back after many years, and it was a real disappointment. The staff were lovely - but the food was, frankly, very poor. I remembered fresh, excellently prepared and well executed food with an interesting twist - but instead we got bland, reheated food which took forever to arrive. Seriously disappointing. The best part of the meal was the industrial fudge which comes free with the bill. Sorry - we won?t be back.

Terrific choice to experience fantastic regional produce, restrained and thoughtful cooking, warm service, and very reasonable pricing; especially on beverages. Monkfish with couscous, corn, broccolini. Potato gnocchi and chicken breast also excellent.

I originally chose Wedgwood as so many other restaurants on my "list" were closed on a Monday, but I'm so glad I did.
The food was great, very reasonable for a lunch menu, and our hostess was very patient as I caught up with a family member I hadn't seen in 20 years!
I had the sea trout tartare to start, and, although not a large portion, it was about right for the balance of the dish. For mains I had the herbed pork loin with crushed purple potatoes cavalo Nero and yogurt, the pork was perfectly cooked, slight blush and still juicy, the potatoes seasoned just right and the yogurt was the balance the dish needed.
We talked ourselves into dessert and I'm glad we did, the passion fruit posset was delicious, so rich and creamy, packed full of flavour with a lovely little biscuit.
Would love to come back again and bring my partner next time!

We went to celebrate our 50th anniversary. There was a blond lady -supposedly in charge-, was very rude and without explaining anything, she sent us away mistreating us. What kind of people like her can be in charge of a business that advertise as a Michelins restaurant.
