Awful, all the money they collect goes to pay their staff who are completely unhelpful, frequently giving out wrong info when your in emergency crisis situation. Don't provide advocacy; dont provide legal representation. See the transcript I just got of them, awful. They are basically a website, expect no more. Be very careful, because if you land up on the street because of wrong information, you can't get your money back, or any means of reparations: you are basically XXXXXX. Going down the river with a boat and no paddle.

Very bad . They provide false information. Their opinion doesn't matter at all. Neither the landlord nor the agency takes their opinions into account. Lack of professionalism. They have no empathy, they are not helpful.

Whilst I have not dealt with their head office directly, Shelter Scotland have been very helpful and informative in multiple stressful rental situations I have been in. They provide sound advice in challenging circumstances to make sure I know my rights and best course of action. Happily donated after my call, as I think they are a lifeline for renters in Scotland.

Completely unhelpful and unprofessional. They try to redirect you to other charities and they don't keep their word, despite promising to provide assistance from adviser in your local area.They are definitely unprepared.
