“Lovely to pop in and have a wander before the store officially opens at 10.00.The restaurant was packed with lots of people having breakfast before going for a wander.Though very dangerous my pop in including leaving £42 worse off but with a bag of goodies I didn't know I needed (& my husband says I still don't....what does he know)Having that browsing time without hordes of people is a rarity in any Ikea.Easy to find, plenty of parking (& opposite Costco for fuel)”

I had an awkward order and some technical errors crept up as my insurance voucher was causing problems but Douglas was patient and polite throughout and made sure I had everything needed on my order and prepared it well. “Wow, all I can say is 5 stars are just not enough for this company, not after the superb attention I received today.Today they serviced my Riga record deck, which we bought in the late 1970's, replaced the original cartridge, & fitted a new belt to, again, replace the original.And before any work started I was given options for each item needed, & the various costs involved for each of these parts, meaning I actually had the final say in the matter.And finally, thank you for getting my whole machine up & running again so quickly, as nothing beats holding & listening to vinyl.”

“Ordered click and collect, due to lack of delivery option. The store phoned to let me know that they did not have all the order. I explained I was disabled and it took a lot of effort to get there, so I would not be coming to pick up half an order, the sales guy listened to me and heard me out how as a disabled person you lost out if there was not a delivery option. So good service from the store by a pleasant employee. Shame about the inability of Hobbycraft to recognise that not all people have the ability to go out of town to get something. The stars are for the pleasant individual that dealt with a disabled person not getting the same access as the able bodied person”

“CXN100 and CXA81 arrived yesterday….. Hooked up to my new PMC Prodigy 5s and left running overnight playing Radio Paradise to get the amp to settle in….. Qobuz this morning and some test tracks and the system is rather sublime… Effortless, spacious, good bass grip, really rather impressed…. Surpasses my EVO150 running the PMCs and/or my Dali Opticon 2s… In fairness the new system is currently installed in a much larger room as intended, but I’m extremely impressed….. I was going to buy a Naim Supernait 3 but in all honesty, I’ve demo’d it along with others (Cyrus I9 XR, Arcam A25, NAIT XS3) and this is close, real close to them all…. The only stumbling block is the larger form/dimension of the 2 units and it may force us to revisit the Cyrus…… The other issue seems to be Streamagic not wanting to play ball with both the EVO150 and the CXN100 on app startup… It was patchy with just the Evo, seems more patchy with the 2 streamers associated… Thanks so much to Tomasz in Edinburgh….. Every time he remains patient and courteous to the max…”

“We filled 2 trolleys with goods here. Whilst still on the shop floor, member of staff Calum, offered to wheel one trolley to the checkout while we carried on shopping. At the checkout, Calum rang through all of our items while being watched by busy body supervisor(interfering and getting it wrong). On completion Calum helped us to our car and took back the trolley. Well done young man, your customer service is excellent”

There's a great team of management and volunteers, so we all feel well looked after and appreciated.
