Review Title: Disappointing Experience at David Lloyds
I am deeply disappointed with the current state of the facilities at David Lloyds, especially considering that my partner and I have prepaid for the full year in advance. The quality of services has noticeably declined, and it no longer meets the premium standards we initially signed up for.
The sauna facilities have a limited capacity, accommodating no more than six people, and the steam rooms are underwhelming. Additionally, the increased presence of children, particularly on weekends, has made it difficult for platinum members to find quiet spaces to enjoy these amenities.
Moreover, the decision to permanently close the entire platinum area without a valid explanation is unacceptable. As a frequent user of both the gym and the platinum Celsius area, the loss of these amenities significantly impacts my experience.
I recently received a response from the Regional Manager following my meeting with Aron Spence, General Manager. Unfortunately, the response was far from satisfactory. The lack of adequate explanation further highlights the poor quality of services. Despite my feedback, they are unwilling to negotiate keeping the spa open or provide compensation.
I reassure you that we will not be staying further, and I will actively discourage others from joining David Lloyds based on this experience. Future members should be aware of this through an online review, reflecting my disappointment with their reply.
I would appreciate it if David Lloyds could provide options for either terminating our membership with a full refund and compensation for the inconvenience caused, or, should we choose to stay, discuss what discounts or offers could be made available to us in light of the current circumstances.
Really disappointed with the response and the overall decline in service quality.

Poorly managed services and facilities. More communications should be issued to the customers regarding current situation as the club does not take any responsibility at all and overall facilities become really run down and not worth the price at all.

This is my club and I go every day, Gym and Spa. The facilities are state of the art and the staff is really nice and friendly. The pool is clean and the canteen is really nice (although a bit pricey) overall the reception team is cordial but there is one team member, Tessa, is really friendly and professional. Great shout to her ?

Great gym, outdoor swimming pool, helpful and smiling staff. Equipment for tennis rackets is simply an ask. Great selection, clean and tidy. I heartily recommend it
