Due to an oversight at my end, I needed an emergency prescription of my regular medication while waiting for the GP to issue a repeat. The Boots staff reviewed my medical history and sorted a couple of days medication as a stop-gap over the weekend. This was greatly appreciated, particularly as my illness has been causing me quite a lot of bother lately. Thank-you.

Excellent little Boots with friendly and helpful staff. Although it is small and there are often quite a few people coming to pick up prescriptions, they are usually very efficient.

Such a nice pharmacy team. I've been in multiple times and the lovely man has given me really helpful advice and even a free syringe for my friend's medicine when we couldn't find one anywhere else. Thank you guys for being so lovely :)

I wasn?t impressed with the pharmacist here, he came across as quite rude and condescending. At one point, he just went silent, staring at his screen without telling me what he was doing, which felt really awkward. When I asked for some clarity, he shut me down, both verbally and with his attitude. I did call him out on it, so I?m sure he?ll remember me. He then half-heartedly explained what he was doing but by then, the damage was done.
It?s disappointing to be treated like that, especially when you?re visiting for help. I?ve noticed a few similar reviews, so this seems to be a recurring issue. A shame really, as the last thing you need when you?re unwell is attitude. Hope this gets addressed, but I won?t be back.

I went to the store feeling unwell and asked for help with buying over-the-counter treatment. The male staff member was very rude ? he interrupted me, didn?t let me explain, and told me to leave without any useful advice to help with my uncomfortable.
I understand if he couldn?t give the medication, but if he had explained things in a kind and professional way, I wouldn?t have been upset.
I later visited another Boots where the staff were much more respectful and helpful.

This is my local pharmacy, and every single staff member has helped me with a smile on their face (far more than once) in the last year. Even during busy times they've been patient, kind, and friendly and helped me to get what's needed ASAP.
I'm also here enough to repeatedly see the staff being incredibly patient and kind to people, even when those people are being inexcusably rude to them from the get go. Frankly, if I was spoken to in the way that two different customers spoke to staff yesterday (within 2 minutes of each other) I would have been far from polite and helpful like both staff were, so I commend their professionalism.
I just wish I could give them a positive review for every time they've helped me, the whole team have the patience of a saint!

This store is extremely inefficiently run and staff is unhelpful, the pharmacist is dismissive regardless of the business he was getting on dispensing, and both staff will tell you the store is very busy. Service is just not there in comparison to other Boots and competitor pharmacies:(

Visited the pharmacy for the first time last week and was extremely impressed with the service. The unit (retail and pharmacy) has always been a very busy place but the way they manage their workload whilst ensuring customers are well attended is so reassuring. I didn't wait long at all to speak with the pharmacist (Irish chap) and he recommended a combination of treatments for me. I'm grateful for his knowledge, advice and friendly manner.
