Having visited the Edinburgh branch on a Saturday I was delighted to be able to arrange a CHAPS payment. I really want to thank Niamh as she was so professional and helpful in arranging this for me, it really didn?t take any time at all. Great service !

My mother attempted to withdraw cash using a Bank of America card (as this is the partner bank for the UK) and despite hearing the cash drawer counting money and having it withdrawn from her account, the £200 never appeared. She was told by the manager that there wasn?t anything they could do to help her and she would have to contact BoA. This was the interior ATM on the right side. If you?re a Bank of America customer, I?d approach with caution. Hopefully her bank can resolve it.

Barclays have been a big help and alway taking my disabilities into account and understand my situation very well ,and they always try to make sure they can accommodate me best they can and any financial advice they advise the best outcome .Which is appreciated .

I visited ur bank yesterday, and it wasn't open at all; even the doors weren't opening. People were protesting in front of the bank against the bank. Please update your timings on Google and your website.

What is the point of having a bank that is only open 9-3 Monday to Friday? Even if you only worked part time you would struggle to get in for those times, is this branch just exclusively for cashing giro?s?

It?s saying branch is open until 13:00 on Saturday. But no staff is there inside the branch. Not even doors are opening. Very disappointed.

Please be aware that while deposting cash on the machines the second time, I got robbed by the bloody machines 240£ if u taking large amounts plz make sure u go to the counters and never use machines ?

Totally waste of time no professional staff very rude and aggressive and the staff is unskilled. They have lack of knowledge but they argue with customers.if some one complain thier bad behaviour get 2 hours waiting punishment specifically the lady how sit on front desk very rude with customers I give them 0 star

TLDR - if you're dealing with Barclays and are in Edinburgh, just go to the branch. Nothing else works.Disclaimer here - Barclays as a whole; awful, but the Edinburgh staff were great.I've had a HTB ISA for a few years, just needed the statement, then it paid out and the documents.I'll start by highlighting that their app barely ever functions, I've had historic issues but in this particular instance I just needed a statement. I couldn't get this through the app because that functionality wasn't working and couldn't get it through the online portal for the same reason. Eventually resolved, but pretty frustrating (did ask for documents to be posted me, they never arrived). Then called to close out my ISA, fair while on the phone but seemed like there was progress and then the line cut, so nothing happened.Went into the Edinburgh branch, they were very busy but they helped me close out everything pretty swiftly, was told I'd receive my closing statement in a few days...shocker - 20 days later I've still not received anything.Went into the branch again, they were super busy again but managed to give me the documents in person with a smile after a wee wait.My address has been the same since I opened the account, and I did have someone on the digital channel tell me that they'd sent me everything, but it's a bit bizarre that I receive all my expected mail but somehow nothing from them. I'd avoid banking with them in the future purely based on inconvenience, but again Edinburgh staff were great and wouldn't want to give less stars for them.

Appears to be really understaffed. I went in to get my name changed on my accounts. The first time I visited I was told they wouldn't have time to see me. The next time I visited I was told I would need to wait about 30 minutes as someone was in the queue in front of me, I ended up waiting about 50 minutes. The staff were polite and apologetic for my wait, I don't think it's their fault, think they just need some more staff.
