Found this in Robbie Roams NC 500 book. Very disappointing, food average, Tesco delivery but a premium prices, weirdly service poor but people nice!! Not sure how that can be. No one asks if you’d like a drink, no one asks if you’d like sauces, vinegar,. Etc.. £80 for a steak, salmon, 1 starter and a couple of drinks!!

From Coach House Bar & Restaurant
Overlooking Dornoch Square the Coach House is the perfect place for a drink, snack or full meal in a cozy restaurant with a prime Dornoch location. The Mackay family own and run the bar and restaurant, the local butchers shop and farmland in the area so you can be sure the produce is as local as you can get and fresh! The resulting tasty dishes give you great value with excellent quality and generous portions.
Recently refurbished, the old ‘Dornoch Inn’ has now been renamed reflecting it’s history as Dornoch’s old Coaching Inn.
So the well stocked Coach House Bar is locally very popular and the 1st floor Restaurant has a great view of a busy Castle Street in the town centre towards the famous Cathedral where you can enjoy good food with y
