“The best thing about this hotel is without doubt the views over Loch Awe and the castle at the head of the Loch. The rooms and restaurants are quite good, but the hotel caters mainly for the Glen's and Loch coach company passengers. I believe the coach company owns the hotel, and it is geared towards their schedules and requirements.Rooms: The room we had was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The room was at the top and back of the building over looking the main road, which was very close and quite noisy in the morning. was no lift to the room, just a staircase from the 2nd floor lift not really suitable for a couple in their late 70s in poor health. The hotel reception said they could not upgrade us or move us and were not in the least sympathetic. We may have caught them on a bad day!.Food & drinks: Breakfast was good. Full English plus fruit juice, toast, and coffee. The table service was very good, Reception should take note!.”
