“I recently moved away from right next to B&M and I was dreading not being able to shop there but I am close to Aldi and it's as good if not better than Lidl”

“This is about the co-op in Newtongrange, not Dalkeith! A far superior range of items that can't be obtained in Scotmid, Mayfield. They have a much better range of fresh fruit & veg. Pleased to see the items that are "unavailable" elsewhere!”

“???Big store , well stocked and cleanLots of choiceGetting more competitive with pricingBut oh man....the carpark is a nightmareAlways very busy, often hard to see past SUVs to exit a space1 wee junction to get in and out ,I would recommend lights or a big junction; also it is next to a McDs, so even more vehicles to slow traffic down”

“Really convenient. Got everything you can really expect from a shop of this size. It's pricey of course, but that's the whole point, it's a convenience store, they are selling convenience. If it's too expensive for you then it's a trip to Sainsbury's or Lidl, gotta pick your poison.Never had an issue there and it's great if your ever caught short of a couple things.”

“This Tesco is massive! I know some are even bigger, but this store is plenty big enough for most needs. Their clothing range is cheap and cheerful and in plentiful supply. The grocery aisles are well laid out and easy to navigate with plenty of choice on offer. The staff are pleasant and happy to help with any issues or queries, the staff on dedicated 'butcher', 'deli' etc counters are knowledgable and friendly. The store is bright, warm and nice to wander round.”
