“My only real complaint is that there is a tiny section for frozen fruit and veg. In fact there are four times as many freezers for different types of chicken nuggets.”

“I like aldi, it offers great choice and value for money. Only check your dates as some products may go off fairly quickly. If products are damaged or they have a bubble effect or crinkly effect on the package such as cheese or red meat do not buy as there is air in it and bacteria as these products should be heat sealed. Also if you buy red meat, lift and look underneath the package, if the meat is brown do not buy for the same principle as above. This I do in every store. Mostly fresh meat and dairy will do this, so don't rely on dates, check!! For bread look at the date then if it says (1) it means take one away from the date and that will be the date your bread will be good for. Aldi isn't too bad for this but some stores are so just check. Aldi does offer good choice of products but I would like to see a larger Asian product choice such as capaccino chickpeas they were delicious, and other foods. They do special buys which are fun. I would definitely recommend this store. The staff are amazing and nothing is too much trouble, they work tirelessly to make your shopping experience memorable. Happy shopping to all. X”

“Huge Farmfoods store that is about to get bigger with a big extension. Parking is good outside the store and this branch has a much bigger range than most of the normal sized Farmfoods. Best suited for families as the multi-buy buy deals are the best value. Some excellent savings on biscuits, tins and confectionary.”

“Small local shop with friendly staff. The only down side is shopping in here is quite expensive. Good point is you can get power for your meter here. There is parking in the street outside the shop.”

“Personally, I love this wee Tesco, of course it's going to be more expensive (convenience) but it's worth it to see the big blonde dude have a chuckle and a smile during his work and also the wee lassies shimmy around- at least they're not lazy but work conscious, people are too demanding and get ratty because of the car parking situation but no need to take it out on the staff- they don't set the prices, get a grip”
