“Small shop but absolutely perfect for me, I can't walk far so having a smaller iceland is brilliant, it has all of the same stuff without lots of staff milling about, so if you just want a no nonsense shop this is the place for you..”

“Tonight we tried the app to good to go.
£2.50 and morrisons gave us 2 pkts kids sandwiches, two baguette filled with filling, 2 cakes and a milk. Worth signing up you get what's left but it was very nice and for little money.
Well fone morrisons”

“Good place to shop, with reasonably priced goods. Like all supermarkets it's prices could be better for the products it sell. Needs to get self serve checkouts for folks with small amounts of shopping..”

“Sometimes to handy with just round the corner, friendly staff, go out there way to help you when occasionally having a child with asn having a sensory overload in the shop.
Asda has everything you need .Brand items to there own products. I find myself buying Asda quality products from tolieteries, makeup, sprays, clothing, household, entertainment, toys, and a few brand names. Also when your finished shopping you can head over to Cafe and eat and drink and kids eat for a £1 plus there's a takeaway service plus you can order on Just eat to have it delivered home. So spoiled for choice. Thankyou Ayr Asda.”

“Amazing customer service was a little confused about the deals on the cans and the 3 for £10 freezer deals. but stuart (i think that was his name) was able to explain to me the deals clearly. as the past few times i have been caught out by the offers.

EDIT: still keeping the 5 stars, great to see Stuart is still here and still providing exceptional service, only reason it stays as 5 stars. The only negative is the blonde female at the tills have a woeful attitude towards customers and badmouthing staff.”

“A cashier called Ollie who was working around 8pm last night (28/1) was an absolute angel.I needed to buy a charger but my phone was dead and I needed it to pay, so he helped me. I immediately burst into tears as I had spent all day at A&E with my father-in-law and felt so helpless when my phone died as I'm from Glasgow and don't know the area well and was so grateful. He was so kind and compassionate, gave me some tissues and a seat while I waited and made sure I was okay.Honestly cannot thank him enough for his compassion and kindness on what was a very long and upsetting day.”

“My local shop for some 40 years, just minutes from my house and keeping handily long opening hours. Still delivers my Sunday Paper and I can count on one hand the number of times the several generations of paper boys or girls have made a genuine mistake!”

“My favourite order from Forehill is the Angel Haddock Fish Supper! It’s a little dearer than the basic equivalent but not by much and without doubt worth the difference. The wait is never too long and I find the staff efficient and courteous. Well done!”

“Their prices might have jumped with the current climate, but they still offer some unbeatable deals and an increasing selection of products reduced around store. Plus the girls in the high street branch are the hardest retail workers in town.”

“Great freshly made to order fish and chips Used the chippy twice whilst staying near by £18 for two fish suppers You had a choice one or two bits of fish We went for two but with the chips it was two much I’d recommend one fish supper and the singe fish (two bits of fish ) this is more than enough for a hungry couple Definitely return if we were back down this way again”

“Staff members are always friendly and helpful. Store is slightly larger than a convenience store and some products, including "family" packs are very limited. Parking is straightforward though sometimes busy depending on the time of day. Please be aware there is no petrol station here as shown in some car sat navs!”

“I have to say I've always really liked this wee shop, but tonight I have to upgrade the like to love lol. I had ran out of something I felt was"essential" lol. I called them at 20.05 to ask them when they closed. And the man said 8pm, but he'll hang about and wait for me!! I was 10 mins away. That was so kind of him and I'm very thankful!!! He knew who I was just through my day to day purchases, and had what I needed waiting on my arrival! Best wee shop about! Thank you, Kim xx”

“Not the biggest store but a fair number of choices. More expensive than the larger stores. Well laid out and convenient disabled parking. Pleasant helpful staff.”

“The staff of this particular spar are genuinely amazing. They are friendly and helpful. My one complaint would need to be that they never seem to get in twisted cheese strings any more”
