“A grand Scottish Hotel on the Deeside Road. Very popular with overseas tourists. We had a large, well furnished room & a great bathroom with a gorgeous jacuzzi bath. Breakfasts & dinners we're excellent alough the dining room closed for 1 night. Experienced & efficient staff plus a friendly manager. It's well placed for a good driving tour of the area. There's a path in the woods opposite for walking or mountain biking. Would happily stay again.Rooms: Lovely big room with 4 poster bed, large bathroom with jacuzzi bath, separate showerWalkability: Woods opposite have a walking & mountain biking path.”

“My only complaint was I was only staying one night ! We were in the family suite , the rooms were spacious, warm and clean. The shower was powerful , always a bonus . The bar area was very cleverly sectioned to provide a feeling of intimacy although you were in a shared room .The hosts were friendly and informative and I enjoyed 3 or 4 drams off the excellent single malt gantry with some impressive guidance from the owner . The full Scottish breakfast was of excellent quality and very well cooked . ( nice coffee too ) Throw in the breathtaking scenery and what’s not to love ! I’ll be back in the better weather for more than one night ,for sure !Food & drinks: Great breakfast , fantastic whisky selection”
