“Needed new battery for my car key remote and decided to get a new key with remote to have as a spare as I only had the 1 key. He said he would have it done in half an hour. 20 minutes later he phoned me saying there was a problem. My original key had been wiped clear it's software and couldn't get it to work on my car, kept setting off the alarm. He said he would sort it out. An hour and a half later he had both keys working that was in between dealing with other customers. He was definitely committed to the job. I wasn't in any rush anyway I kept going past to see how he was getting on in between my shopping trips at Berryden. He persevered with it and didn't give up and succeeded in giving me 2 keys with remote control that both worked and didn't set off the alarm. Just what i wanted. Problems happen it's having a bit of patience and getting through them. So great service at Timpson at Berryden, Aberdeen cannot thank them enough.”

“Has superb quality shoes, I've 4/5 different pairs of shoes from them. You can get formal, casual trainers etc. I like the shoes that have a leather upper and a fairly thick rubber sole, the shoes tend to last longer.”

The ladies offered accessories which could be worn and it made the whole shopping experience so relaxed.Every time I am in store the staff are so helpful.You don’t get this experience shopping online.”

“Always great quality and really good bargains in their sales, only issue I have is that their sizes seem to be a hit or a miss hence the 4 stars. I ordered 2 shirts online both a size M, wife nipped into the store and picked them up, When I tried them on, 1 shirt fitted perfectly and the other was far too small and had to be returned, which was disappointing as they had none left in a bigger size.I've found the same in store too, some tee shirts I'm a M and some a L, but I suppose they are not the only shop that's like this and is only disappointing when you can't get the next size up for the garment you want.”

“Range and quality of clothing has greatly improved this past year. Prices are kept to minimum and not overpriced! Matalan offer club card holders regular 20% discounts off Prices. I do enjoy shopping in Matalan in all departments which include, homewares, bedding, footwear and menswear and children's dept. We have two stores which are well presented and the layout is well thought out. Plenty of room to move around aisles. Toilet facilities also. I would like to see a coffee/tea shop opened providing a refreshments for the shopper!.”

“Served by Polly who made it her mission, whilst simultaneously serving another couple of people, to get me the perfect shoe. She was utterly brilliant. I explained what I wanted, she made suggestions, found a shoe I liked in the sale, didn’t like the colour. She found another colour for me then went through various sizes and widths to make sure they were the perfect fit. Cost almost twice what wa in the sale but they are perfect. Her knowledge, enthusiasm, willingness to help everyone, even when interrupted mid sentence by someone else - in my opinion you should be very proud to have her as a member of staff she is an excellent salesperson. Also, the shoes are really comfortable and just what I wanted. Thanks.”

“The interior is clean and classy, and there is a wide variety of items to be purchased here. The items are of very good quality, that is undoubtable. However, one should keep in mind that this store is wayyyy more expensive than some of its competitors like Primark, for example.”
