“This charity organization is well organized with seasoned managers. They support people with learning disabilities around the city, such as Huntly Elgin, Stonehaven, and Inverurie. Besides, the training they provide is top-notch, and they provide various activities supporting people in the community, especially those in North East of Scotland.”

“GOAT Aberdeen Charity shop.Staff friendly.Always stocked with good designer and vintage gear.Consistently fair and cheap pricing.Archway charity shop are more reliable than a pacemaker - ironic as most of the deals they're cracking out are heart-stopping.Wake up and don't sleep on the chazza gaff of the North East bosses and bossettes.”

“This is an excellent charity run place, the staff are lovely and very helpful. They do good quality food parcels where you can pick what you want and they also have the ability to order certain clothing items too.A must visit for anyone who is struggling due to the cost of living crisis.”

“Reviews about the staff are clapped - disregard as such. Barnardo's is my fav on the Chazza Abs route.Pros- staff staff staff, see lots of comments negative to this? Barnardo's hire adults with learning difficulties (none of which I've had any sort of bad experience with) who are banging chat. David is ace. R.e. other staff they're always trying to be helpful and have a nice chat, worth asking about what there is for sale and how much things are!- the gear, very varied but always positive. Found pretty much every brand of designer for a good price at one point or another- super easy to find what you're looking forCons- can take time to look through it all and can be a hit and miss for finding what you're looking for - that said I've never been disappointed”

“I suppose I'm biased as a volunteer in the Barnard Castle Book Aid shop. Yet the charity is so effective in what it does, and touches so many people across the world. From those who want to donate their books, so as to extend their use. To those who come in the shops, or buy online. To the Church across the third world that receives container loads of good Christian books for their growing congregations. Oh, and the happy ones like me who get to meet all the great people who frequent our shops.”

“I started going to The Lighthouse Sunday services and transform group at the end of November, I wasn't in a good place then but the support of both has really made a big improvement and couldn't imagine not going. My kids love the service as well.”
