Item of furniture arrived damaged. I informed Birch and Yarn within 20 minutes of receiving the item, via email that it was damaged (including photographs of the damage).Despite 2 emails and leaving a voicemail message, I have heard nothing from them.I will never buy from them again and would strongly advise anyone thinking of buying from them, not to do so.£149 wasted.

There seem to be many bad reviews but I had quite the opposite when dealing with them. I received my goods in record time and was packaged beautifully. All 3 items I am more than happy with and will buy from them again ?

Ordered an expensive hand painted mirror which arrived damaged. Emailed Birch and Yarn, requesting a return. No response. Tried contacting them via live chat on their website. No response. Tried telephoning them. No response. One month and numerous unanswered emails and telephone calls later and I am still waiting to return the item. I'd call their customer service awful but it doesn't seem to even exist. My advice is to shop elsewhere.

NEVER RECEIVED MY £200 REFUND! NEVER BUY FROM THEM! I returned a broken chest of drawers and they never responded to my emails or calls. This is a scam.

Asked to return a faulty item at my expense, and did this expecting a replacement. No replacement received, no response to my emails over the past three months, and their phone is just a mobile that goes straight to voicemail. Avoid this company or it?ll cost you because their goods are substandard and once they have your money, you?ll never hear from them again.

I ordered a rug from here and it never arrived, however they took my payment. I emailed multiple times and called them and there was zero response. Really angry and disappointed with the lack of service- please don?t buy from here.

Bought this stool, unfortunately it collapsed after 2 months when I was briefly sitting on it and hurt my tailbone. I can only advise against buying this item. It's apparently made from the cheapest materials. There was no response from the seller to my complaint. Very bad customer service.

I am extremely happy with my vintage blue storage cabinet from Birch & Yarn. The website is easy to operate and they offer great bespoke furniture. Although the delivery took a little longer than promised, it arrived in perfect condition and fit the exact description on their website. It can be a little difficult getting in touch with the company, but once you're put through to Louisa and Jean, they're both extremely helpful and professional. They worked with me to make sure the order and delivery was smooth. I know some of the reviews are negative, but I think this company is overhauling its customer service and shipping provider. Will definitely order with them again.

Unprofessional! But apparently when I told them straight to their faces they were offended. I ordered a bench from their website; it kept saying ?FREE DELIVERY?. I checked out the item and paid for it. After less than a half hour, I received an email from them saying that I have to pay £20 delivery because what ai order is ?a small item? and the free delivery is only for ?big furniture?. Having dealt with so many online shops by now (that was w red flag for me) I asked them politely to cancel the money and refund me. They said okay without giving me any timeline of when that will happen. After more than a week, I emailed asking for a timeframe (when to expect my refund back), their customer service was very unprofessional and said ?it?s very complicated? and ?they?re gonna have to remind the manager because he?s the only one who can do it?. I was shocked by their unprofessional behavior and don?t get me started on their ways of handling simple things!

Wish we paid more attention to the bad reviews. The chest we ordered arrived with a huge hole in the back. After a number of weeks trying to persuade the seller that this was damaged beyond use, they then said we must pay £72 for it to be returned (despite it being badly damaged on arrival). Since requesting that they cover the cost of return, Birch and Yarn have refused to respond to any emails. Absolutely terrible customer service and the worst consumer care we?ve ever experienced - shockingly bad!
