Sandy La“We arrived with my 87 year old mother for afternoon tea & cake, before looking at plants for her garden. Once we had chosen several plants, we joined a queue at the only till that was staffed. There was a delay due to a problem with another customers card payment. Once our plants had been scanned, my mother tried to scan her card, which was declared Void at the till. I questioned the till staff 'how can it be VOID' we've just used it in your restaurant? We tried again, but still VOID !There was no prompt at the till or from your staff to enter a PIN, so I inserted my 87 year old mothers card and entered the PIN! It worked, but the queue behind us had grown even longer with unhappy customers that we kept waiting due to this recurring issue.POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.Management please retrain till staff to identify this issue and update your till software ASAP.”
