Great location, hotel looks lovely with the historical beams in the room.My two issues were ….the room was slightly cold, so decided to use the portable heater in the room but it kept tripping the sockets so just froze instead. Second issue is I forgot my toothbrush and toothpaste, thought I should be able to purchase... read full comment

Have spent many happy short stays at the Bear down the years. Friendly, clean, comfortable and close to many venues.Food & drinks: Food adequate but not particularly impressive in choice or standard.Noteworthy details: Beautiful site, very comfortable rooms and close to marvellous Blenheim palace

Location excellent for visiting Blenheim - nearest entry gate can be reached in 2 minutes.Rooms and building are very old so there's no lift or air con. Stay was comfortable although felt bar prices a little expensive.Rooms: See above.
