The firm was founded by Martyn Cox in 1988 having been a member of the Board of Management at Buckell & Ballard in Oxford. Initially the office at 6 Corn Street was run by just two people. In 1992 No 8 Corn Street became available and the offices were merged into one. This created space for more staff and a wider variety of disciplines. Since then, staff numbers have increased and Martyn Cox & Company has become one of the best known names in Witney selling and renting property throughout West Oxfordshire.
