Had a spa day here, spa and treatment were lovely
But the lunch was terrible, bad service and food was inedible, the mushroom risotto was horrible, and so chewy

I came to this spa with my husband 2 years ago and had the best time, great facilities and amazing service. Came back recently with some friends and I was quite disappointed. The afternoon tea was lovely and good quantity of food however the spa facilities were either out of order or not hot enough. All the hot tubs felt cold and it was too busy to be relaxing. Shame as this place used to be really good.

The Spa area is great, great sized pool, hot tub's. Nice gold course & plenty of outdoor seating areas which i could imagine would be pleasant in warmer months. The staff were all nice too.
But overall, I don't feel the hotel provides great value for money for what we paid in the end. We went as a family for a special birthday, but left feeling like the place has got some much more potential:
Breakfast - not a great selection, had to ask for warm milk which they bring from the bar, food was being packed up by staff 15 mins before closing whilst some people were still waiting for more coffee etc... You get more choice at a Premier Inn.
Rooms - not bad, but feel outdated & in need of a few repairs.
Cleanliness - Very good overall, but the carpets in most of the hallways & rooms along with some furniture are past it.
Spa - best part of the hotel, however it's a little weird the entrances to the rooms are through a courtyard. So you end up walking outside to go back inside. Not a big issue but would recommend converting those to a glazed walkways.
Bar & Restaurant - nice pleasant spaces to spend time (again some furniture in bar area could do with replacing), however service was frustratingly slow. At times 45-60 mins for food to arrive (which was quite nice to be fair). We ended up going out to eat in Bicester Centre on the last night. Bar was left empty at times.
Rooms: Not bad, clean however outdated & in a need of a few repairs on places.

Really poor and disappointing experience! I attended a spa afternoon and evening meal. The spa was covered in towels and the pool was freezing! The meal?. I felt like the invisible man! We had to request to be seated, request to see a menu, request to order food, drinks and dessert! We were ignored and the restaurant wasn?t even busy! Would not return!

I had a disappointing experience with Bicester Hotel Golf and Spa, and unfortunately, the customer service has only made things worse. After raising a complaint regarding both the spa and the meal during my visit, I initially received a response?but since then, I?ve been completely ignored. Despite following up, there has been no attempt to resolve the issue or even acknowledge my concerns.
The spa experience was far from the relaxing and luxurious visit I expected. The atmosphere felt disorganised, and there was a noticeable lack of attention to detail throughout. It didn?t feel like the calm, high-quality experience the hotel advertises, which was incredibly disappointing.
The restaurant service was equally poor. The staff seemed disinterested and inattentive, making us feel like an afterthought rather than valued guests. We experienced long waits?not only to place our order but also between courses?with no explanation or apology for the delays. When the food finally arrived, it was underwhelming, both in quality and presentation. For the price point, I expected a much higher standard of both service and cuisine.
I had hoped that after raising these issues, the management would take them seriously and offer a fair resolution. Instead, I have been completely ignored despite multiple follow-ups. This level of customer service is unacceptable for a venue that markets itself as a high-end destination.
I wouldn?t expect this kind of treatment from a business of this stature, and I?m disappointed that a simple resolution seems too much to ask.

Booked 3 months in advance as this has been an idea for past 3 yrs. Got to hotel at 12pm was told rooms are available at 3 pm and we can start using spa. To be at reception for 4pm to fill out medical forms for massarge. Got there at 10 to 4 and diffrent lady at reception couldn't find out booking and was very rude. Told us because we haven't paid technically we haven't checked in, she also asked if I have a print out but, my phone was in the locker. And we didn't want to miss our spa treatment. Asked for coffee pod apartenly it's only 1 coffee per person! Treatment was amazing lovely lady from mk. We had a nice lunch in bar but when asked for take away container the girl didn't show up or apologise for forgetting! Out door jacuzzi was a joke dirty !!! Beyond belief dead bugs yellow water. Can't belive my eye. No tea machine in spa ! Water jars taken away from spa way before they closed! Room was ok but mattress had a dip in the middle poor condition pillows beds and out dated decoration. Loud guest next door slept 4 hours.

Very pleasant hotel, spar, gym, golf course and padel courts. Large car park with EV chargers which are slow but reasonably priced and great idea. Rooms are a good size and well equipped. Food is priced fairly high with mains about £16 to £19 (fish and chips £18). Great location, close to the motorway and Bicester Village retail park. Just to mention, one of the speakers in the breakfast room has blown and sounds awful. Would be better to disconnect that speaker or replace.

We went for Valentine?s Day, we went last year too and we were planning on going every year..not anymore. The dinner never arrived so we had to leave because it was 10pm and we hadn?t eaten since 4! A prepaid meal that we COULDN?T get a refund on..bear in mind we?ve been in the spa all day too..they never replied to our complaint! We didn?t receive ANY refund or compensation.. ruined Valentine?s Day. Everyone there was complaining about the wait! an absolute shambles. Never experienced anything like that before! Shocking, truly.

My husband and I booked a spa day at this hotel through the Spa Breaks website. While the massage and spa services were great, the entire experience was ruined by the lunch service.
Not only was the food below standard for a four-star hotel, but the service was unbelievably slow. We entered the restaurant at 1 PM and didn?t receive our main course until 2:45 PM. Because of this, we couldn?t even enjoy the spa again.
We ordered a chicken Caesar salad and a mushroom risotto, but the service was chaotic. Other tables around us were also complaining. A different waitress came to deliver our plates, but instead of my salad, she brought a burger. I told her from a distance that it wasn?t my order, and instead of addressing me, she simply turned around and left. Then, we saw her serve those same plates to another table that was already unhappy.
We waited and waited, and by the time we were the last ones sitting, with some customers even laughing at our situation, I asked a waitress (who had been absent for most of the service) when our food would be ready?or if we should just leave. She was visibly shocked and admitted that someone had mixed up the orders, meaning our food wasn?t even being prepared!
Keep in mind that we were sitting there in wet robes and swimwear, getting cold. We even had time to go back and forth to change to avoid getting sick. The first waitress seemed unhappy to be there. She served a warm Coke, handed us a menu with a wine list, and when we ordered a mimosa cocktail, she told us we couldn?t order it there and had to go to the bar instead. Fine. We then asked for Coke, but she insisted?rudely?that we pay for the drinks immediately, despite us being in robes without our phones or wallets. She even suggested my husband leave me alone at the table to get his card from the locker, which he found inappropriate.
When our food finally arrived?within 5-10 minutes?it was clear the mushroom risotto wasn?t made fresh. My husband said it was overcooked and tasted like porridge. So after all that waiting, the food wasn?t even worth it.
In short, this lunch experience was completely unacceptable for a hotel of this standard or for the price of the spa package. After complaining at the reception, they gave us the email of the spa manager?but surprise, it didn?t work. We then emailed the assistant manager and, of course, received no response.
I wouldn?t return or recommend this place to anyone. If you do visit, avoid the food and drinks! The restaurant wasn?t even busy?only 4-5 tables were occupied?so there?s absolutely no excuse for such poor service.
Rooms: No comment because we did not stay in the room.
Food and drinks: Not up to standards for a 4 star hotel. Terrible service, not trained and young staff and super slow service for the food.

Ivan was helpful this evening in the bar, thank you and the receptionist on duty was helpful , my bicycle light came loose and i asked for tape and she handed me tape to stick the light to my bicycle, thank you to both staff members ?

Spa day. Was busy as during half term. Service from staff was excellent. Back massage was amazing!
Pool was busy and temp of the hydro spa and spa pool were not warm enough for me, however the outdoor hot tub was hot and lovely.

Customer service was terrible!!! Went for a spa day, booking in process was hard work, never got shown around, didn't receive everything included in the package, some of the facilities were not working, not enough water/drinks areas, no one available in the treatment areas, the list goes on.....
