“I went in looking for Pepsi lime. They had not long had a delivery and of course what I wanted was on the bottom of the pallet. A great young guy by the name of Allan(I think) moved everything so we could get to the Pepsi. I apologised but he said it was no problem.”

“I keep meaning to write a review for a particular member of staff. I keep forgetting to ask for her name. Although she's always so busy!

The lady with very short light brownish hair. Works self service most mornings when I come in around 9am. Was working today (Friday 13th) at that time. I just wanted to say how lovely, happy and helpful she is! A few months ago she even paid for my shop as my card wouldn't go through!!! She's got no idea how that helped me that day, and what i was going through. Really made my day. So lovely to help a stranger out like that. Hope this reaches her to make her day too?

“Nice and tidy store. Wide selection on food and drink. Nice to always see Liam the happy lad behind the counter with brilliant humour. He was very helpful in packing our bags and assisted us with a couple of issues which he dealt with brilliantly. He definitely deserves some recognition.”

“Recently rebuilt, re-decorated. looking great, with friendly staff. Coffee, slushie and hot food stands inside. Prices are like all small shops: slightly higher than in the huge supermarkets.”

“Apart from the previous raves the range of goods is quite remarkable for a store of this size. It also so much more superior in range and staffing qualities to other local Co-ops.”

“A good size store with plenty of free parking, a great selection of products, we managed to purchase everything that we had on our list and the price was pretty good too.”

“Shop is good & convenient, but I wish selfish people who don't have a Blue Badge would stop parking in Disabled spaces & have some consideration for people who genuinely need the spaces & have a Blue Badge. Laziness is NOT a Disability.”

“The staff were friendly and helpful. I find the store does not have the best entrance to the carpark as it is very narrow also the petrol station is very close to the entrance, adding to this there is a set traffic lights so can get congested.”

“Tesco in Banbury is nice and big. i tend to go here instead of town in the week as it has everything you need really. This store has two floors. upstairs is clothes , cookwear ,books games and electric items. very accommodating for wheelchair users as there are flat esculaters used for trollys to the upper floor. my only bad point is the parking. theres not enough space !!. we have had to drive in and turn round and go elswhere at a weekend before.”

“Everyone in this shop is amazing they may have changed hands going by some reviews but I always get treated like a king or boss man as they say. And a reply to a previous review about a dark haired woman she's called Lisa and she's been going through a very hard time she really has. I agree no problem should be bought to work but if you only knew the half of what this poor lass has been through you would understand why she may of come across as rude. She really isn't honestly”

“Store returned to almost PRE-COVID-19 operation. Shelves are well stocked. Moderate number of shoppers makes queuing time acceptable.Update: unfortunately, like other Waitrose stores currently it suffers from supply problems. Most popular label on many shelves is "We apologise, this product is temporarily unavailable".I am afraid that this situation will not change in foreseeable future.Update: products supply has improved. There's quite good product choice now and many own brand (ESSENTIAL) items have lower prices.”

“A very helpful young man helped my wife , and I on checking out using the new automated system. Unfortunately never made a note of his name.
In the men’s, and household checkout on the first floor.
He showed patience, helpfulness, and was quite charming in his manner., If for no other reason why would you go anywhere else.
Thank you.”

“A generally well-stocked and laid out largeish branch of a generally well run supermarket chain. I stopped for lunch in their cafeteria which was entirely satisfactory with friendly and helpful staff. I then did some shopping which was much as I anticipated . . . a few stock shortages and frightening prices due to the stupidity of the current Foreign Secretary when he was Prime Minister and the deceitful campaign of those in favour of our departure from the EU. Unlike most supermarkets it was possible to find staff to ask for directions and help, both willingly provided when required. Thank you !”

“Went for the petrol, friendly staff who informed me that there is 24 hours availability, if you were to use card payments. However personnel to help with payments are not available after 7:00 p.m. on a Sunday?? easy to navigate in and out of the petrol station.”
