“Good sized store, a store where you can really find everything we need in our lives and has a lot of fresh goods and bakery products. Has a decent car parking with plenty of spaces. Personally find it quite expensive but decent quality and the staff is very friendly and helpful ?”

“I'm a great fan of Heron Foods and not just because they offer great value for money. The staff are it's greatest asset and all offer outstanding customer service. Being a disabled person, I can only get around with crutches, I find it difficult to manage them and a basket as well. Thankfully, many members of staff have offered to help me as I shop. Once through the checkout, they've even carried my bags to the car. On one occasion, I'd popped in for a few things before going on to the cinema. Rachel went above and beyond in bringing my shopping up to the cinema after her shift at Heron Foods was finished. One of the things I love about Heron Foods is that you very often see unusual products not seen elsewhere. The only downside to this is that they may not get the same thing again or ever!! The only other thing to mention is that some items only have a short life span but this is not a problem if you consume it before the "best before date". I believe that this is the reason for it's cheaper prices, which isn't a bad thing given the current financial situation that we are all facing. “Waitrose essential brand is good value for the money. All Waitrose foods are excellent may be a bit dearer but you get what you pay for. I am a pensioner and can afford to shop there and get a free coffee too ? à”

“Fabulous Staff This CO-OP is based on a main road running through Daventry but I have never had problems getting in or out of the carpark.......The carpark has approx' 10 spaces at front of store....including 1 Disabled space and 1 Parent and child space......There is additional parking at the rear of the store. Opening is 7 days a week and they open early until late The store is not the full size supermarket but a mini store....However it still has a hot drinks machine and in store bakery. At certain times there is hot food such as bacon roll, sausaage rolls etc...this is at the store enterance and products sell out fast. Also stocks a good range of sandwiches and pasta salads etc The store always has special offers on which change regularly and also has a reduced section for food going out of date that day.....normally 40/50% off. The staff at this particular store are absolutely fabulous. They remember their customers and are super help full and friendly.... other shops could learn a great deal from these members of staff. To be completely honest I go here rather than the slightly closer Tesco express simply due to the staff members being so lovely. Hope this review is of help.”

“It's a branch of Tesco and it does what Tesco does. Medium sized store with a wide variety of stuff. We've used this branch off and on over the years, first when we kept a boat on the canal nearby and now when we have visited with our caravan. It has remained consistent. There's a large car park, whihc always seems to have more cars than there are peple in the store, so maybe people park here and shop elsewhere?”
