“This store has been clean every visit I've made to date. Self service has been expanded and checkouts contracted. There is a problem with this that can easily be rectified. The problem is when scanning alcohol, you have to wait for a member of staff to verify age before you can pay. This is okay when quiet but when busy, it takes forever for age verification and this is extremely frustrating, especially when they promote self service as being fast and more efficient. They really need to have more staff on self service during busy periods.
Apart from this, a good store with friendly staff.”
“The aisles are slightly cramped so you kind of have to follow a one way system. Apart from that it's a brilliant local shop, I especially like the freshly prepared orange juice machine.”
“Good Choice of food and excellent prices. Amazing offers each week. Chris delivered my order this morning with a smile, always friendly and polite and delivery always prompt. Highly recommend.”

“Visited today with my granddaughters who are both autistic after grabbing a few items we went to the cafe for lunch. There was quite a queue to order and my granddaughters sat at a table I could see them at and were quite patient, the patience wore off before the food arrived (not a long time but a long time for them) to some it may have appeared they were being naughty not that they were anxious as things were not as expected after the food arrived a drink got spilt all over the table and floor. Without asking one of the restaurant staff appeared with a mop and sorted out the spillage, another replaced the spilt drink whilst another offered sensory toys. This efficiency and understanding of the staff was so welcome, and far different to other experiences of taking my grandchildren out which can result in rolling eyes and tutting.
A great example of inclusivity and education, thank you to the staff (sorry I didn’t get their names but they were working at 12 on Thursday 28 August), for their attention and action it was greatly appreciated and would encourage me to visit again.”
“Convenient little minimarket.Good selection of products but more expensive than Tescos main supermarkets. Helpful staff and self services, ATM and small car park”
“Absolutely wonderful and friendly Staff. Nikki, Ann and the team gave me with the best congratulations for my recent achievements and wished me well on my future endeavours which meant a lot to me and this uphold them to a highest standard of quality customer service and experience I have never witnessed before. The store is a true cornerstone of our community and has remained a mainstay to all of us throughout the pandemic thank you very much.”

“Just had a meal in Hinckley Asda cafe with our grandchild. There was only one lady cooking, serving and clearing away. She was so pleasant, helpful and calm. She deserves a medal”

“The Hinckley Tesco is by no means the largest Tesco, but it is incredibly well stocked all the time, probably something to do with having a large distribution hub on the outskirts of town.It does most of what you need on you r weekly shop, good alcohol selection, it’s too small to have clothes and some of the other things you get in the Tesco Extra’s but it’s still very good. They have a petrol station and do click and collect, I would recommend getting a Clubcard as you can make significant savings on lots of items.Good little supermarket.”
“Some dates in items are very short like 2-3 days in the fresh section. So you need to watch dates. As with all supermarkets prices have gone up. Some of the branded non Lidl items are just as expensive as at other shops like Tesco
Staff are always helpful.”
