Terrible aftercare service for a product that came faulty. Ive been strung along told different things from every person ive spoken to. My family has been left with no cooker for 2 weeks because they were so unhelpful with the return of faulty hob. Disgraceful care from every employee that i spoke with on the phone. Do not buy from them. Hard to beat your local electrical store.
Do not buy from them, save yourself the heartach.

Very poor customer service. Since purchasing the coffee machine, I've had nothing but problems?first with the grinder, then they supposedly fixed it and sent it back to me, but then more issues appeared. It makes strange noises and brews coffee that doesn?t match the selected button. Avoid at all costs!

Avoid the Matt Black Range
After spending £6,000 on all the matt black range of smeg. Oven Microwave, Hob, Extractor, Kettle and Toaster I contacted customer service regarding the handle on the oven. Its scratches so easily after 6 uses (fitted Aug 24) the silver metal is already coming through. I dread to think what its going to look like in 12 months. The response was its cosmetic but surely an oven should be more durable... it was suggested maybe a ring had caught it (seriously its got about 6 scratches on it). Its obviously not fit for purpose the finish that they use on it and needs to be more hardwearing... I wasn't asking for a refund just a solution on how I can rectify it which is crazy for a £1,000 oven.

Waiting for smegg cooker service for 3 days phone call engineer broke down pm fri when expecting him do not work Saturday or Sunday girl who rang me said
So no hot food for 6 days
And they can't even guarantee I'm the first call Monday

Paid £1300 for a fridge which broke down within 10 months, replaced under warranty with an identical fridge which had an identical problem, this one lasted 18 months before failing, called Smeg only to be told the replacement fridge has no warranty at all. An engineer was sent out as a good will gesture but could not repair the problem, then I was told that nothing more could be done. Smeg I understand that under the terms of your warranty you probably did all you had to but there is something seriously wrong with your appliances and I will never buy another of your products again

Bought an expensive smeg oven, hob, larder fridge and an upright freezer for a new kitchen and they have all had faults. Would not buy again!

Didn't even last a year. Have a two year warranty and SMEG support have basically said sorry we can't do anything for you. Contact your retailer who have also said sorry we can't do anything for you either. A farse!!!!

If I could give minus stars I would! My daughter purchased a coffee machine for me a year ago and the filter has broken. I called and they said they would replace it for me because it was still in warranty. After six weeks I emailed as no replacement arrived to be told there was a problem with supply, so I was told it would be a few more weeks, which I understood. It's now four months on and I've emailed so many times to be told there is still the same problem!My warranty runs out in 5 months and I think they are trying to wait it out until then so they don't have to replace it for me.AVOID smeg because their after sales service is ridiculous! They charge you a fortune for their products, then parts break after a year and they won't replace them!

Awful. Had a problem with 2yr old £3500 American Style fridge/freezer. Not only did I find out it was manufactured by BEKO [the same spare part ordered through SMEG was 3x the price so my repair guy used the BEKO reference number] but refused warranty claim over paperwork discrepancies. Over £6000 of SMEG appliances in my kitchen and no flexibility what so ever. To cap it all their 'customer service hotline' is an 0845 number so it cost me £15 to call them!!!!! Poor appliances. Awful customer service ... I'm sticking with AEG or BEKO next time.

I bought a SMEG kettle from Marisota, used it for 3 months and l just noticed it has paint bubbles coming out on the outside. These seem to get bigger the more l boil water. One day l think they will just burst leaving me with a fake SEG kettle not SMEG.?To imagine l bought the kettle for more than £100, maybe l should have just got a£10 one. I have contacted bot SMEG n Marisota but have both ignored me, l guess they got their money what more do they need from me. My loss. This is the worst brand l have ever bought.
