“I would just like to share my recent wonderful experience at Iceland. Iceland's options for plant based frozen food appears to have expanded compared to past visits, and everything we have tried so far has been at or exceeding the quality we get from other supermarkets”

“Visited the store late Sunday afternoon 30/07/23. I was served by Tom S at the checkout. What a charming young man, he was cheerful, interactive and although I’m sure at the end of his shift, he was charming. It makes such a difference to the shopping experience. Well done Tom S you are a credit to HB”

“Even when it's busy the queues go down very quickly as extra tills are opened immediately when needed. Fantastic range of products and still find an Aldi shop cheaper than other supermarkets”

“I love my local Londis, friendly staff, good selection of foods, chilled, breads and cakes and snacks good selection of Mags and papers, plenty of wine and beers and spirits, all at very reasonable price. Good selection of tinned foods, not a bad fruit selection, great for a quick shop or a top up shop.”

“Its alright for most things but sometimes you will see deals that aren't shown in the shops. The staff are quite friendly, in fact I pretty much free up as this will always be the first shop I went to before it became costcutter. The history of the shop has a lot. From renting VHS tapes, to DVDs. Its two deep freezer section but after the changes. I can't say I like the new changes but that how the world works”

“A pleasant break in our journey. Pleasant room with plenty of space and uncluttered. Although the menu is a tad limited, we got what we wanted and it was good. Sad that druggies doing their trade infest the nearby path - but that isn't the store's fault.”

“Good selection of produce, fresh bakery. Self checkout tills are a nice addition for when you're just popping in for a few things. One of a few shops with a customer toilet. The Lidl app is good. Easy to use and easy to check the special buys coming up.”

“The Forbidden Palace, the Louvre, and the Hanging Gardens of Babylon; All these places evoke images of majesty, wonder and grandeur. Compared to Farndon Londis, they are a house, a glass triangle and a hanging basket. Men nor gods can comprehend the selection of chocolate bars and Chinese disposable vapes on offer at this venerable establishment. If you haven’t been you need to go, and if you have been you need to go again.”

“A pretty good shop. Nice selection and they require face masks so it's as safe as possible. Staff are lovely and helped me out whenever they could. Only issue is that it can be a bit dirty at times and there isn't much parking.”

“Out of all the large UK supermarkets, I think Morrisons is the best.I think their market street is great. They have a large selection of pizza, a salad bar, the bakery is excellent, and so are the butchers. This particular Morrisons in Newark is very good and has a large market street selection, which includes the usual fresh pizza's, bakery, salad bar, butchers and cake sections but it also has a large cheese counter and fish counter.Morrisons is also very well stocked with other food products, clothes, and other household items.”

“Fuel is at an average price.Plenty of space between the pumps.Prices for goods inside the shop are also decent unlike some other petrol stations. There's always only one cashier behind the till and you have to wait a while. It would be nice if the cashier at the tills would be a bit polite.Plenty of parking available if your just visiting the forecourt shop or the Subway inside..Inside the shop, I've seen it a few times now where cleaning equipment is on the shop floor but no cleaning going on, just an obstacle in the aisles.”

“Not a bad size Tescos in a rural area, clean & tidy with friendly helpful staff.Had most things one would need and a fairly large car park with WC facilities in store.”

“This store follows the familiar ASDA blueprint of immersive all-round shopping. While it is not the biggest or grandest ASDA I have seen, it is still quite large and contains a wide array of items. In terms of the environment, the store is clean, well-maintained, and pleasing to look at.Almost everything can be found here - from fresh groceries to clothes, home accessories, drinks, ice cream, gadgets, baked goods, toiletries, etc... the list is endless, really. There is an underground parking lot, as well as one above ground.Prices are reasonable and there are many checkout points - for self-checkout, or otherwise. It really makes for a good shopping experience.”
