So glad we came here. The lady who served us was very helpful, friendly and welcoming. We got plenty of information and tips. We also brought some beautiful goodies. The Millionaire Shortbread and Pecan Flapjack were outstanding. Thank you so much to the lovely lady that served us.

What tourist information centre? ?The actual one, if you can even call it one, is located on the first floor of the library, and we went up there to find nothing but leaflets and bus timetables. No history books or souvenirs. We assumed you could book the boat trip tickets here but they don?t bother with that anymore. Shame.

Berwick Visitor Centre welcomed myself along with a large group of children yesterday. They provided us a lovely space for the children to eat their lunches, and coffee and scones for their weary teachers. The, just out of the oven, cheese scones were beautiful and high recommended! Thank you so much for your excellent hospitality; we will definitely be back. ?

Fantastic help and guidance received today from Anne. Provided really helpful ideas for things to do with our children, all of which they loved. Coffee and cake inside the visitor centre were lovely and the film showing the history of Berwick is well worth a watch. A great experience- thank you.

We arrived in Berwick upon Tweed and went to the tourist information centre for a parking disc. What lovely ladies! They were so helpful. We were so pleased they advised the wall walk - half an hour passing beautiful scenery and making you feel 'on top of the world's in parts. There was a free historical video in the centre and a museum, plus refreshments with seating. Well done to the staff who were in there on Monday 21st June! It made our day.

Good covid precautions in place but aside from a very helpful man at the door directing us to the TI, they are completely useless. Half of the tourist information stuff is roped off so you can't get to it and the library staff are completely uninterested in helping. If you want tourist information do not enter this building, go down the street to the Visitor Centre where they couldn't be any more friendly or helpful.

Would have appreciated a sign on the entrance saying dogs not allowed instead of going to the centre to enquire . I do though appreciate there is a lift to the first floor it?s easier than stairs when you have a disability . However upon getting to the tourist information centre I asked are dogs allowed in only to be told , ?? not really ?? ( whatever that means ) yes or no would have being suffice , .., honestly is it too much to expect disabled or indeed any person to be made aware of the dog policy upon entering this building instead of being turned away after a lot of effort to get there .Not impressed , had the appearance of being in the comfort zoneTerry

Friendly staff who do their best with the resources they have. However, the fact that the space is cramped and tucked away from the town centre show the low priority tourism is given by the council. They could learn a lot from following the example of nearby Alnwick.
