“I’ve played in bands all over the country in 100’s of venues for 40 years on and off. The Elephant is up there with the best of them. Why? The staff are great and the people that get in are the best. Local fella Steve is the 6th member of the band ? , crowd banter is top notch and the dancers are first class. If ya want to have just a great night out go see a band there.”

“Some rooms can be abit dated, but they are still comfortable, bed is always great at premier inn with their super comfy mattress. I stop here a couple of times a month on my way through for work, I did have an issue with a room once but was moved rooms right away with no fuss. The staff were super helpful. The area is nice to walk around too around the lake, took approx 35 mins at a gentle pace around the lake only. The car park isn't too great with pot holes in some areas
