I am a fan of the Whittling House generally - we have stayed and eaten there and it’s always been good. Today we had Sunday lunch there and three out of four of us ate from the normal menu rather than the Sunday lunch menu. Booked a last minute mid week meal at the whittling house. The food and service were beyond expectation. Couldn't recommend them for an evening meal highly enough.If we are visiting the area again we will stay in one of the rooms.

Visited on Thurs 7th March. Such a lovely place. Wonderful staff- so professional, warm, thoughtful people. The inside was beautiful with a lovely, charming friendly atmosphere. The decor is superb.
