Terrible service to be told after waiting in queue, albeit knowing there was a substantial wait for food, which was fine. Everyone else gets served no problem being informed of the wait for my husband to be told at his turn that they were accepting bookings only was disappointing! Very disappointing. Been a number of times over recent years when visiting Alnwick, the last time been Christmas, always had great meals and good service.
