“What a great little supermarket. You can pretty much get anything you want and there are some surprises too. Some of the cakes and biscuits from local producers were well worth it. If you are passing its worth a rummage!”

“Visited Aldi Alnwick for the first time after moving to the area just before Christmas. Found it quite easily and there were plenty of parking spaces. Impressed by the huge range of quality goods at reasonable prices. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Managed to semi-restock our empty chest freezer, find everything we needed for Christmas, including a few presents. It is now our supermarket of choice; we will be back. Thank you to Aldi and their great team. Made supermarket shopping a pleasure!?”

“I do like Morrisons, but they don’t always have what you want. Why is it their shops have children’s clothes, some women’s clothes and nothing for men. It must be that we men are at the bottom of the clothes pecking order. Know your place men.”

“Comprehensive shop, wide variety of products. Recently visited the store. It has been redesigned with fruit and veg at entrance and stationary and clothes more in the middle section.”

“Went in after leaving Turnbulls empty handed after requiring steak. It's a good M&S food hall, well stocked and I came out with 2 beautiful looking Thick Cut Ribeyes with good marbling, that I can report after some expert cooking from yours truly went down beautifully.As an added bonus I was given a free bunch of flowers whilst paying! A great act of kindness after my first week of living up here!! Love it!!”

“This shop is good for things you would not normally find in an Alnwick shop such as continental food and drinks (e.g Jolly Ranchers, Mogu Mogu etc) but they are also a little overpriced. Mogu Mogu comes in 1 litre bottles and is £5 just for basically some chemicals and coconut cubes. I think the prices need some work but overall it is a good shop. 8/10. Local and classic.”

“This shop is great for anything and everything. It is local which is always a great bonus for reviews like this one and it also has most products so you can buy a wide range of things. The food is very good quality and is environmentally friendly as well as sustainable. 7/10. Good for everything but wouldn’t do my weekly shop there.”
