I appreciate that the people in the practice are probably overwhelmed, especially during the winter months, but the situation is so grave that I wish they could acknowledge the total collapse of their system and try to reorganise. It is close to impossible to actually make a face to face appointment with a GP unless you fake something life threatening. I have tried a few times with econsult but you go through a series of questions (if you are lucky to find the system "available"), then you are shifted a few more days for a response, then a few more for a GP to call you at an unspecified time, which you might miss, then you are given some advice that you can probably find online, then you wait for months for a follow up, and start all over again .... I have seen other reviews complaining about the same issue and apologies offered by the practice but frankly I do not think that they are realising the despair and sense of abandonment that their patients experience.

How on earth is anyone able to get an appointment? 3 times I?ve been in a queue to then be hung up by a receptionist to then phone up again be number 29 in the queue then to be told no appointments! Disgraceful. It?s took me over a week just to speak to a gp!

only giving 1 star as their is no option to give NO stars. All my meds have been stopped for my heart condition without any pri warning. All my asthma meds were stopped without pri consultation. find it IMPOSSIBLE to contact anyone....utterly unfit for purpose. I am trying to make official complaint with the care quality commission

Useless trying to talk to a doctor you can't get past the on line form!! So if you say certain things it automatically says call 111. I have not been able to see a doctor in 4 years as I give up with the system...constantly complain on these various platforms but they do not respond!!!! They only acknowledge good reviews and not their actually patientsSurprise ?? Example " Dear Moria : come on". See to us that is local

New to the surgery and can honestly say my experiences have been nothing but positive. Reception staff very helpful in sorting NHS app log ins for me. The young Nurse is always so lovely after seeing her for a few appointments and I think the Econsults are great! Thank you so much.

Recently signed up with this local centre in Alnwick and could not be happier with the medical staff here. Dr Adam Henry is one of the best doctors I have ever been treated by.Thank youAlexander

Brilliant practice and the staff are so helpful. Yes it?s difficult to get an appointment but I don?t know of any practice not facing this challenge.

absolutely the worst practice I have ever experienced. See a doctor at 10:00 am on a Friday and get told we need to get you on Medication to treat a potential heart condition get to Tuesday afternoon and still no prescription for this 'serious' issue. What a waste of time

Fabulous service . I rang this morning not expecting to get an appointment today. I was given an appointment at 9, an ultrasound at 11.40 and the results by tea time.Thankyou to all at Alnwick Medical Group especially the lovely trainee Dr. Molly.

Terrible system in place to try and talk to a medical professional! Having to wait 6 weeks for a doctor to call me back! The staff are fine if you ever get to see anyone or talk to anyone! Would not recommend!

Always received amazing service from this GP. If eConsult isn?t available I always manage to get through on the phone to speak to someone, albeit there may be a wait but that?s to be expected anywhere. Reception staff are always polite and professional. GPs and nurses always helpful and very thorough in appointments. Happy to have access to such a great GP practice

Left for two years without any progress. Errors from GPs, such as being sent for scans on wrong areas and forgetting to book surgery. Managing director didn't treat my concerns or me with any respect and, in the end, has just ignored my attempts to make contact.I intend to move away from Alnwick in the future for this reason.
