When we found this store it made us chuckle a little. Yes, we know that the currency is the pound but sometimes a little outside proofreading doesn't hurt. In Belfast, UK, Poundland is the larger chain for a discount store. It offers many items priced as low as 1 pound. While the Lego-like set was just 6 pounds, most other items were priced at 1 pound. The service was both professional and efficient, providing excellent value at this store.

What can I say? As an American visiting the store, it was interesting to see the difference in Poundland vs our "dollar stores." There was a huge variety of items from clothes to food, to household items. The store was fairly busy and seemed to be organized/tidy for the most part.
