“Got a quote from the woodfloor warehouse £870 for 38m2 of laminate flooring,underlay and required length of beading. Called into Martin Phillips, Newtownards and got the same spec laminate floor, underlay and beading including free delivery for an amazing price of £430. Left after paying the brilliant Johnny who served us as pleased as punch and one very happy bunny. Couldn’t recommend Martin Philips highly enough, great store, great range and great customer service”

My only criticism would be nothing to do with the staff at all, but £9 to fit windscreen wipers (a job which took the guy 30-60 seconds to do is, I feel, excessive - my arm is damaged so I had no choice but to pay. That aside though... I'm a happy customer and will return.”

“We came in for a carpet repair after our dog chewed the carpet and the chap who worked there was absolutely amazing! He sorted us out, colour matching the carpet and recommended someone who could do the repair for us and send us some helpful videos if we wanted to try the repair ourselves.5 star from me I wouldn’t go anywhere else for carpet related needs??”

“Loads of shops in this area to include Lakeland, Pets at Home, B&M and Marks and Spencer. Parking can be a bit of a nightmare but you’ll always get a space somewhere. There are spaces for people with disabilities. currently there isn’t an area to charge your car which is frustrating.. hopefully this is something they install soon.”

Looking coloured grout for new kitchen floor, and with choice of colours and different sized bags of each colour, it was great to have the choice there in store.Back today to pick up 10 bags of adhesive. Had called to see if sufficient in stock, and when arrived was already loaded onto a trolley for taking to the car, and then loaded into the car.Will definitely be back when the next tiling job starts.”

“I called into Halfords, Boucher, Belfast for some gas canisters for my camping stove. I realised I needed air in my tyre on setting out that morning. I then noticed Halfords attending to a vehicle outside, I enquired, and the customer care assistant advised me, the service was, a free 10 point car check which didn't involve inflating the tyres, but would check the tyre pressure. On further advice from the customer care team, I signed up to Halfords Free Motoring Club. I was booked in for a car check there and then. I called back after shopping and not only was my car checked, but the very helpful customer care team had also inflated my tyre for me. I was so grateful as it was also a very wet and cold day. Thank you very much indeed, a very helpful and friendly team.”

“Bought some Rega bits from Lyric and each time I've popped in they've been nice and friendly. When I'm in the area with a bit of time to spare I tend to have a look to see what they have. Also, the pre-owned stock that they carry is generally really good condition and prices are reasonable.”

“Needed a throat baffle plate for Heta wood burning stove. Rang shop and explained that I bought the fire about 3-4 yrs previously. Mark was excellent he looked up my details and ordered the part with a 2 -3 day delivery. Collected part through the week from David who as usual can't do enough for you. Girl in the shop also tried to be pragmatic by getting the part delivered sooner. As usual excellent customer service, excellent staff would highly recommend.”

“Hi was in looking to get a full bathroom installation called into homefit boucher road to get a wee quote. My partner and myself was sorted out by Chris with picking and choosing colours getting the rite . flooring measurments lighting etc. Chris went over and beyond to help us pick the rite things he explained everything brilliantly we kept him there a while and got side tracked a few times but we got there in the end lol couldn't recommend him enough and the price was a nice surprise too .Oh and not to forget Liam settling us in and taking care of us as we arrived late and they still we're so understanding and accommodating Thank-you.”
