“The Holywood exchange Sainsbury's is much better now they've introduced the hand scanners last month. It means we can easily use our nectar prices instead of using a smartphone that often crashes. I'll visit more often now they've this new device.”
“The staff that have been here yrs are amazing, so helpful and friendly. Will go out of there way to help you get what you need. From use of the post office, coal etc and helping you find items or alternatives. Great new layout and new items.”
“Lovely friendly staff with a great selection of products and produce. All the staff are willing to help and have a proactive approach. They all seem to have a good sense of community spirit with them know each and everyone of their regular customers”
“Good range of stock, really good choice of crisps. Stayed down the road at the crown plaza so nipped here for some supplies.Plenty of fresh food and chocolate etc. alcohol choice is extensive!Bit expensive, but happy to pay as loads of choice. Will be back later in year when I stay locally again.”

“Oh Mummy! This Spar is a wee cracker! The staff are so helpful! The BUY ONE GET ONE FREE DEALS ARE SCHWEET. I was near dead when I seen that they were doing 90 sausages for a £1! Oh Mummy! I'm squealing cause I can't believe how much money I saved! I'd good luck in there too, but I bought a wee scratchy scratch card and won a £1, I'll be celebrating like f#&k over in the Caulfields Monday club!”

60 Ardoyne Avenue“First time in here in a very long time (10 years at least). It's a little hidden gem in North Belfast. They have some of the weirdest and wonderful stock, not found elsewhere. Well worth a visit if you've never been before. They've also a post office and a good selection of fine wine in the off licence section.”

73 Newton Park“Where do I begin ? I think the MACE really came into its own during COVID. They recognised what their customers needed and provided for them in every way. The staff are always friendly and courteous but none more so than Andy the postmaster. In the run up to Christmas 2023, I had him tortured with my Amazon deliveries. I like to think that I played my part too by picking up my parcels promptly because the space they work out of is very small. However Andy had the space well organised and even if I was at the back of the queue he had my parcel ready and waiting for me.He’s an absolute GEM and the MACE is a wonderful community hub ?”
“My experience with this place had been excellent up until today. The person working the till had rolled her eyes at me just because I decided to go to the till and not the self-checkout. Bear in mind there was no line and she was just chatting with another employee. The purpose of having self-checkout is not so you can sit around doing nothing. You getting paid so please do actually work when you need to.”
“Such a variety of different products on offer plus they've always loads of discounts in the shop. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend shopping here if you're in town.”
“Called into the Co-Op on the Shankill 8pm ish on Wed 15th, grabbed something quick for Tea. The young chap behind the counter was lovely, he broke the "young people in retail" stereotype, I'm only sorry I didn't catch his name.”
“Good shop, reasonable prices. But it's the staff that really makes this place, you can tell they're like a family and they always interact in the best ways with both each other and customers. This is probably the most friendly shop I've ever been to, a great team!”
“There are 3 Spars in dundonald and this one is my favourite lovely staff well stocked and well maintained fast check out brilliant the coffee bar always clean and tidy”

18 Rowan Dr“Lovely local shop that's almost always open in case of emergency. I once forgot yorkshires for christmas day, and they were open and had exactly one bag of yorkshires left. Very convenient.”

129 Springfield Rd“Decent enough shop-busy! Has beers, post office, cash machine outside and tea/coffee machine inside. Loads of offers-plenty of stock at £1 and highlighted around the shop. Decent sandwiches for £2.”
“Service with a friendly smile from Anne... a credit to your company... enhances our shopping experience. My favourite place to shop... great butcher and always good for a bargain.”
“I like to think of this as the Tesco that actually cares for their shoppers. There is a sizeable parking space to the front and covered parking space on the ground floor. Commuters can get access to this shop quickly as there is a bus stop just close to the petrol station. Inside, there’s a scan and go option that makes shopping more convenient. Also, shelves are stocked and there’s a wide selection of products and foods to choose from so your choices are extensive. The aisles are wide enough and the staff arre helpful.”
“An all in one shop to be honest. Selling a vast array of food, fuel and home heating products. A little expensive, but well stocked, neat, tidy and very friendly staff.”
