“Food here is fantastic, we had Sunday roast and then breakfast the following morning.

Everyone here was super friendly.

The room was clean and comfortable, the only issue we had was the train going by. The intervals between when they go by widen quite a bit in the evening but as someone who has a younger child it was difficult for him to stay asleep until almost midnight as it was so loud going by. We tried closing the windows to dampen the sound but it only helped so much and with the warmer temps it made the room quite hot.”

“This is a lovely little hotel, conveniently located a few minutes' walk away from the train station, supermarkets, and restaurants, as well as being close to the university. The owner Sandra was the friendliest and most accommodating host I've had the pleasure to meet. Although the restaurant was closed at the time of my stay, she recommended many great places to eat in the local area. The room was comfortable and clean with all the necessary conveniences. I chose a separate private bathroom - which was a bit unusual having the toilet and sink in two separate rooms - but the (actually hot) temperature-controlled shower and complimentary toiletries were much appreciated. Would definitely stay again!”

“My wife always enjoys Dunelm, this time we popped to the cafe as our daughter had just fallen asleep. We had a buttie and a jacket potato, 2 coffees and a slice of Cheesecake. The mains were spot on, enjoyed them considering the price. The Cheesecake looked amazing, it just wasnt unfortunately, I felt it was missing something. The coffee was the most disappointing part, was very bitter even with the added sugar. I'd probably eat here again, just not for a coffee.”

“We tried every other hotel in North Wales but they were all full due to filing of The Witcher in the area. We came here last, at 2:30 a.m. and lovely India on reception found us a room. We were so grateful and so exhausted. The next day, reception was manned by Joanne, who was equally amazing and helpful in offering us advice on local places to visit. The only negative was that our room price was pretty high - presumably due to high demand for rooms in the area at this time for the aforementioned reason.”

“A hidden gem multi level Golf Driving Range and pitch n putt, just outside Bangor with Trackman* modern technology.

The Technology allows you to play multiple holes multiple courses on big touchscreens or an app on your phone with so many options to choose it’s great fun.

So if you’re looking to whack some balls, improve your game or have some banter you can do this on your own or with friends and family.

I highly recommend this for a bit of Craic.

We opted for 100 balls for £10.”

“Overall the stay was pleasant. Matt provided excellent service, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was good. The only reason I give 4* is the pressure of the shower was diabolical. Avoid room 7.”

“Great base for visiting family. Location was conveniently close to the main A55. Plenty of free parking, had a Burger King, Starbucks and Asda Local nearby. There was very little noise in the hotel. Rooms were clean and were as expected from a Travelodge. Staff we met were all really helpful.”
