Shelves were quite empty some bread was out of date the day previously. It seemed to be a bit hectic in the shop.

Most staff members are friendly but this store is not very disabled friendly they refused to let guilde, assistance and service dogs into the shop. I got told it's you can come in but your assistance dog can't so I will be back that's disability discrimination this store needs their training updated they refused to let a epilepsy alert dog to do do its job I would advice anyone who has a guide, assistance or a service dog do not go into this store

This is my local and I loved it, the fresh bread and scones, the service etc until today. 1 star for the postal service and customer service. I sent two parcels for returns over a week ago, one returned to me a number of days later and the other Royal mail said hasn't left the station. Worst yet, when I called to explain this I didn't get anything close to an apology. Infact, I was blamed for having my address on the parcel that returned to me. Just to be clear..it's a return so it will have my address originally, but the process for this return is not that I do anything to the parcel, it's that I take the parcel to a Royal Mail provider and they scan a barcode from my phone to print a new label and stick it on in such a way that it arrives at the new destination. Regarding the other one, I was told it had left and this happened before when the customer tracked it wrongly...I explained both Royal Mail and the recipient's records show it hasn't. Again, no apology and instead a "I'll call you back when I get a chance as I have customers in front of me". Awful, that the immediate reacton isn't "apologies for this, let me look into it". Mistakes happen, it's the poor customer service that is more blood boiling. I won't be trusting here with my post again, which is a shame as with two kids, it's important to be able to post locally.
