Room not particularly clean, some rubbish was missed and it was not well hoovered. In the bathroom - broken towel rail, toilet not attached properly to the wall, waterfall shower sending water every direction. Not particularly accessible if you have any mobility issues either with so many stairs and no lift. Honestly, I would just spend the little bit extra and go to the Galgorm. This is definitely overpriced for the quality of experience

Hotel rooms and spa are really superb, very friendly helpful staff. Food was excellent and we will definitely be back, we enjoyed an overnight stay with treatments, 3 course evening meal, breakfast spa time then lunch on 2nd day.Rooms: The rooms have everything you will ever need, Rabbit hotel has real luxury beds, TV, radio, Dyson hairdryers, fridge, kettle & coffee machine our room had and outside Bath tub and a fire you can lit and chill outside.Food & drinks: We really enjoyed evening meal verity & quality. Cocktails are amazing. The only part wasn't as good, The breakfast was a little bit of a let down. Just very disappointing.

Booked one of the hotel's "all wrapped up" packages, inclusive of spa/room/dinner&breakfastThis included a clay mud treatment at spa @1300. Emailed ahead and was informed we could check into our room at 1200. Upon arriving at 1245, "greeted" by the receptionist from Faulty Towers, immediately asked for payment, and then informed our room was not ready. Directing us to get changed in toilets and to leave valuable belongings unattended at receiption - which i refused to do. Upon asking for a locker, that was refused as they were reserved for "Day Spa" guests. As i explained having paid over £400 for the privilege I asked again for a locker key, or to speak with a manager. I was thrown a locker key, same story for my partner. Appalling service.Dinner and breakfast were no better, with basic service etiquette missing. Having asked for a drink 3 times, to eventually giving up. All perfectly rounded up with a 45min wait at breakfast for a plate of medicore scrambled eggs, and a 15min wait to checkout!Rooms were however decorated to a very high standard and were comfortable.Unfortunately the poor level of service throughout, and the emails sent (which have gone unanswered) would definitely NOT recommend staying. Unless of course you want the full Basil experience..

Husband and I had lunch here a few days ago. I ordered the organic salmon was very expensive at £27 for a small slice and it wasnt cooked all the way through, the sauce was very tasty and brocolli. My husband enjoyed the chilli chicken even though recipe has been changed, it used to be mini green or red chilli sliced up on top of it in a sticky sauce. Drinks was expensive at £7 for a pint of shandy and a glass of west coast cooler £6.95 very pricey, no bottle just a glass with a lot of ice in it. Ordered 2 cafe lattes and they came out in small cup glasses, not a tall one which I got the last time i was there with my mother and Auntie a few months ago.

I stayed here recently after a friends wedding and was quite disappointed in the experience given the price. I stayed in one of the snug rooms and it was bigger than I thought it would be which was great.Positives: great shower, bathroom, comfy bed and pillows with Dyson hairdryer/fans/nespresso machines - lots of luxury items in the rooms to make it extra cozy. Lots of extras you could buy also like massage sets, crisps, drinks etc. a few Christmas decorations and free bottled water/coffee.Negatives: bleach bottles left in the room after cleaning, WiFi didn?t work on the tv so you couldn?t use Netflix/youtube-just cable tv, the WiFi access point appears to be in room 302 near the door and has an extremely bright light that illuminates the entire room while trying to sleep (we had to cover it with a sock) ? no late checkout option ?because check out is on Christmas Eve?, WiFi is configured to do some weird blocking of certain devices so we couldn?t use the Nintendo switch online because the device said the WiFi was blocking certain endpointsBreakfast was a continental breakfast with a hot breakfast dish from the menu - it was pretty decent but nothing special, no really flavourful dishes or anything out of the ordinary. Lots of options though! We had a clay ritual experience as part of the hotel package and while the treatment was lovely and relaxing, they didn?t supply new towels and the towels left in the treatment room were wet from someone else using them before ? I would have assumed it was from the steam except the steam part of the treatment hadn?t even started when we checked them!I expected a lot more from a luxury hotel and had much better experiences at less luxury hotels. I would not stay here again for that price.

I stayed here with my partner last September and the experience was unforgettable. I'd never been to a spa before so this was the perfect introduction. The spa has an amazing design and I felt so relaxed the whole time. I'll definitely go back again next year.I definitely wouldn't recommend the clay ritual; it was a complete waste of time and detracted from the spa experience. Everyone I know who's been here has said the same thing!Rooms: We got the mid-tier room and it was absolutely incredible. There was a rustic retro vibe and so much attention to detail. Things like a Marshall bluetooth speaker and a Dyson hairdryer are luxuries you just don't get elsewhere. The bathroom was beautifully designed and the outdoor terrace was perfect for relaxing after dinner. My only complaint is that the outdoor bathtub is hardly big enough for two, and a metal attachment on one side made it uncomfortable to lie back. However, the chiminea made a lovely, warm fire for having a drink next to.If you're planning to have a drink in your room (or on your terrace) then I'd bring your own wine as the mini bar prices are designed to completely rip you off!Food & drinks: While I couldn't fault the quality and variety of food & drink, the service did not match the price. Paying £8 for a pint of Corona after having to wait around for the bartender to finish multitasking (on more than one occasion) isn't acceptable. The service at breakfast was also very slow, and my full cooked breakfast arrived with items missing from it.

No one to greet us. Couldn't find reception. Staff not helpful or friendly.Layout of hotel badly designed.Had to walk in lashing rain to get to wedding venue. Loads of steps. Not disabled or elderly friendly.Very disappointed.... Especially because it's SO expensive!!

Very overpriced food which is OK but not exceptional. Add to this the staff have no understanding of their menu so try to charge for items that are already included and it makes for a very frustrating visit.Unless there are no there alternatives AVOID!!Food & drinks: Average at best

Lovely place. I really like what they've done since it was taken over. They should have a virtual tour of the hotel and restaurant.

My friend and I had a wonderful meal last night. Excellent service, staff so friendly, professional and helpful. Now the food, wow, amazing. Starters- hard to choose, decided on the ribs, yum, and the brie just perfect. Main meal, we both had the steak, well.....the smell of the steak, wonderful and the taste- I don't think I have had better anywhere else.I would highly recommend The Rabbit for food and the atmosphere.
