Regularly go for a breakfast toasted tea cake. The staff are lovely, helpful and friendly. Food is always presented well and the coffee is excellent, will be back next week - if not before

Costa coffee in Towcester has a bad service, I?m not impressed with 3 staff members at all. I went to Costa on 14/06/25 sometime between 2.15 pm to 2.20 pm. I was waiting for a little while for someone to serve but 3 staffs was ignored me and keep chatting together. A few minutes later I asked if anyone free to serve me?. I?m so frustrated and upset at this point. None of staff has apologises but they was stop talking and gone quiet. Finally I got my drink with upset feeling. One of staff members said to me ? YOU ARE WELCOME ?. I find that is very rude.
My suggestion is the company should training staff how to behave in the workplace and service mindset.

Staff very polite and helpful. Food good but unnecessarily expensive but the entrance floor vinyl tiling and sticky tape is shameful and more importantly a safety hazard. It?s been like it for ages. Spend some of your profits looking after your customers and staff!! One star given for Atmosphere due to the state of the vinyl floor tiling.
I have a photo of the floor but cannot see anywhere to post it.
The Costa Quality Auditor was there when we visited. He confirmed that he had taken a photo of the flooring aswell so let?s hope it gets renewed. A poor advertisement for a successful chain.

It's not possible to give this no stars .the place is run down you get your drink made their way not necessarily the way you've asked like extra hot wet .if you complain you are given attitude from the many kids that work there .they are rude unprofessional and are always moaning .it's like a playground and you'll get your drink when they can put their phones down .I've been in there at 4.45 and told we are shut and refused a drink .no darling your opening times are 7.5 which tells customers they can get a drink up to 5oclock .not you want to be walking out the door at 5.

Love Costa, but Towcester's branch on Watling Street is my number 1. Great cheery team, warm welcome and bright, airy cafe / seating areas. Popping in to get my coffee is always the highlight of my day. Thank you Team Towcester.
