“We popped in here today around 4 and before food was formally available but the chef was brilliant and happily cooked early for us. We had his home made pies- a steak and ale one and a three cheese and onion one. Wow! So delicious and everything was actually made by him (so many places claim home cooked food that clearly is bought in). Proper chips like your mum used to make and gravy to die for.

“Lovely wetherspoons venue, especially the Georgian Assembly Rooms. Little bit of a 'locals only vibes' from both staff and patrons alike upon entry. Service is slow, but it was a very busy Sunday morning service. Food was good and well priced.”
