Just had two wonderful people arrive to take away furniture from my beloved house as I downsize and leave York. They could not have been kinder and more helpful. Please thank them both for making my morning a little nicer than I was expecting. Excellent customer service

Disappointed to drive there from Scarborough and find the place closed with all the shutters down despite their other stores being open and Google advising their opening times as being open.Phone before going would be a good tip to avoid wasting time and money.

Impossible to donate to them. Website says to phone up to arrange a collection of furniture but no matter how many times you try, on whichever day during their advertised opening hours nobody answers the damned thing! It's no surprise so much perfectly useful stuff winds up in landfill. Really frustrating as I'd like to donate but they're prohibiting me from doing so.

I couldn't rate the service received more highly. My Mother purchased and had delivered a reclining chair. The assistant in store was extremely helpful, patient & helped her choose the right chair. The three delivery men were exceptional. Very pleasant & went over & above their duties in lifting the heavy chair, which this one is to replace, into another room.Thank you. Excellent service.

Ordered a sofa which turned out to be a massive struggle to get into the house due to size. The guys delivering were able to persevere and managed to get it in for us. Took them over an hour because of how small our house is and big the sofa is. Honestly can't rate the service highly enough. Most places would have definitely dumped it in the street and told us to deal with it ourselves, but these guys went above and beyond.

This place is so bad. Thought we were doing the right thing by offering two nearly new armchairs which complied with fire regs. We rang up to ask if they would take the chairs and after being asked whether we required a collection offered to deliver them ourselves. Arrived at the warehouse to be met by a very rude woman who said she didnt want the chairs because if they were part of a 3 piece suite the warehouse couldn't sell them. We were under the impression that the warehouse aims to help people in need of furniture but this appears not to be the case. Our advice is if you are thinking of donating choose a different organisation.
